PHOTOHIKE // SPESSART EDITION 📸🍂

Autumn is in full swing, so for our next Photohike we’re heading out into the Spessart on a beautiful route curated by @streetswithseb 🍂📷

We’ll spend the day walking through the autumn forest, following a mix of smaller trails and forest paths with plenty of time to stop, explore and take photos along the way.

The route is around 15 km with roughly 300 m of elevation. You don’t need to be an experienced hiker, but you should be reasonably fit and comfortable walking that distance on uneven forest trails. We want everyone to actually enjoy the day instead of suffering through the last few kilometres :)

📆 Date: Sunday 25th October
⏰ Time: 9:00 - 17:30 (including travel time)
📏 Distance: ~15 km
⛰️ Elevation: ~300 m
🍽️ Lunch opportunity included

We’ll take a longer break around the halfway point, so bring some food, enough water and clothes suitable for the weather.

📍 How to get there

By train, together with us:
We're meeting at the Frankfurt Central Station, Platform 5 at 9:00 to take the RE54 at 9:28.

By car:
We're getting off the train at the Heigenbrücken train station. Come there at 10:30.

What to bring:
📷 Bring whatever camera you like: digital, film, phone, anything goes.
🥾 Proper shoes are strongly recommended.

We’re back for round two!

Join us on Sunday, 23.08, for a photowalk with models in Frankfurt’s Ostend, designed to help you practice portrait photography. With a variety of backdrops packed into one vibrant industrial location, you’ll work in small teams and have the opportunity to capture a range of personalities. A professional make-up artist will be on site to prepare the models and provide touch-ups during the shoot.

📍 Location: Frankfurt Ostend (exact location will be shared after registration)
⏰ Time: 16:00–19:00
No fee. Spots are limited — registration via our Eventbrite begins tomorrow at 18:00.

What to bring:
- Your camera setup
- A prepared moodboard with posing ideas for the models

By taking part in this event you agree to the Terms & Conditions:

The photographer agrees to provide each model and a make-up artist with at least 5 edited images digitally and without watermarks within three weeks at the latest.

The photographs taken may be used by the photographer, the model and the make-up artist for private use and for the purpose of self-promotion (comp card, portfolio, social media account or personal website). The use of the photographs on social payment platforms (e.g. Patreon) or the commercial use of the photographs is prohibited.

When publishing the photographs, the photographer is obliged to name the model and the make-up artist, just as the model and the make-up artist are obliged to name the photographer. by @ffm.collective

📸 FFM.COLLECTIVE × LEICA STORE FRANKFURT 🔴

We’re joining forces with Leica Store Frankfurt and our friend Marie @stolzenberger_ from there for an exclusive photowalk experience: a rare chance to try out the Leica MEV 1 and Leica M-P and let them lead you through the city.

We’ll rotate the cameras through small groups of 2–3, so everyone gets hands-on time as we photowalk through Frankfurt’s city center. Besides the walk, Marie will give us a little store and gallery tour to round out the day.

🕐 Time: 13:00
📍 Location: Leica Store Frankfurt
✨ Every level is welcome. If you’ve never shot Leica, this is your moment to find out what all the talk is about. If you already own one — get your hands on a new model.

What to bring:
- Your own empty(!) SD card (to take home all your test shots)
- Optionally you can take your personal camera gear to shoot with while waiting for your rotation.

☀️ Summer Photopicnic #2, 2026

This time we’ll be meeting at Holzhausenpark in our lovely Nordend.
This is another Photomarket Edition; a casual gathering where you can trade, buy, or sell photography related items such as camera gear, prints, and photobooks.

Of course, you don’t have to bring anything to trade. You’re just as welcome to come, relax, and connect with fellow photographers while enjoying a summer evening together.

We’ll be meeting on Saturday, 25.07, at around 6:00 PM in Holzhausenpark, near Cubus Café.

NO REGISTRATION. NO FEE. JUST SHOW UP!

What to bring:

- Your camera (digital or analog anything
goes!)
- Photo prints and/or photobooks to
display, trade, or sell.
- Any photography gear you’d like to sell
or trade.
- A blanket or something comfortable
to sit on.
- Snacks and drinks (there’s a café nearby
that’s open until 8:00 PM).

Color Hunting Photowalk – Summer Edition☀️🌱🍓🧊

Back for round two! Join us for our second Color Hunting Photowalk through the saturated streets of Bornheim.
We split into 4 groups, each assigned a color — blue, yellow, red, or green. Your mission: hunt down your color and capture it through your lens. Walls, doors, signs, plants, passers-by — if it’s got your color, it’s fair game.

Join us for a collaboration-photowalk through Aschaffenburg with Iris @bildkonfetti, who will be showing us around with their lovely collective @fotowalk.aschaffenburg.

Our route takes us through the city center of Aschaffenburg, where we will explore and photograph historic architectural highlights. We will also capture the surrounding Bavarian landscapes, as well as the city’s well-known river, the Main.

A short break is planned midway through the walk. At the end, we will head to a local restaurant to enjoy some typical regional food. If you would like to join us for the meal (completely optional, of course), please let us know in the registration form so that we can make a reservation for you.

Long time no picnic! This time we’re opening the official summer season with the Photopicnic – Photomarket Edition 🌿

We meet on 6 June, 17:00 at the Grüneburgpark, Frankfurt.

The exact meeting spot in the park will be dropped in our stories on the day of the event.

Bring your prints, zines, your camera or other gear you’ve been meaning to sell for months. Find it a new home, pick up something you didn’t know you needed, and spend a slow Saturday evening with photo-folks.

No programme, no schedule, no registration — just grass, summer vibes, and the kind of conversations that go on longer than planned.

What to take with you:
* Photo gear, prints, zines, photobooks — to sell, swap, or give away
* Your camera (all cameras are welcome!)
* A blanket, snacks, something to drink
