A few frames from a workshop led by @eduardzimmer_ .
For me, this workshop was about much more than taking photos. It was about shifting my perspective, finding new inspiration and understanding how someone else approaches photography and the creative process.
Photography can be a pretty solitary thing, so I think it’s important to step outside your own bubble sometimes to exchange ideas, learn from others and see things from a different perspective.
Still processing a lot of what I learned, but I’m excited to take some of these new thoughts with me and see where they lead.

SOLAR ECLIPSE: batch nr.1

I didn’t have glasses for the eclipse so I just took my RICOH ( with a low battery, oops ) and went to see how people were watching it instead

Everyone was out. Sitting in “Hafen” with wine, eating pizza, holding kids up, homemade pinhole cameras everywhere. Pure moment. One pair of glasses going around a whole group of strangers🫶

Then I met this woman who let me look through hers. She got them in 1999 when she worked at the Städel, she and her colleagues drank champagne on the museum roof and watched it together back then. She kept them for 27 years and brought them out again for this one.

I think that’s the point of street photography, catching something real for later. Feels even more like that now with everything being AI.
