It’s one thing to teach them to write, it’s another to show them how to use their powerful voices. So proud of our amazing students!

Our Executive Director, Harold Green, led a creative writing workshop at Poe Classical, in Chicago, and 28 students created and recited odes inspired by Green’s Black Roses and Black Oak collections.

Visit his YouTube page for the full collection. It is so beautiful! 🖤🌹🌳 taken in PoeElementaryClassical School by @fftl_foundation

One of my favorite aspects of working with youth is seeing them realize the possibilities. It’s all in the eyes.

I’m SO proud of all the amazing work we put in with our students for the Bronzeville Walking Tour project.

Their walking tours will launch this spring in the App Store and I can’t wait for everyone to engage with these brilliant works!

Thank you @artprocessors for bringing this vision to life and being true partners!
