I had the absolute privilege of directing on the limited series Vladamir (eps 3,5 and 7) dropping on Netflix this Thurs March 5th. Created by the brilliant Julia May Jonas and starring the equally brilliant Rachel Weisz, Leo Woodall and John Slattery. by @fgregorini

On this particular Friday I find myself to be 7 years sober and beyond grateful for the life I have. Zia to the most magical, beautiful and brilliant niece and new furry-mom to Dante (a heaven sent gift from Poodle and Rose). And with solid, deep, and true relationships with my family and friends. And fulfilling directing work with incredibly talented folk (more on that, in some other post, some other time). Is this where I expected to be? no, (bc the wanting mind is an insatiable beast) is it a million times better than if I was piloting my own ship, off my rocker, God YES. Whatever it is, and it is looking pretty turbulent out there (and sometimes in here) I want to be present for it. Maybe not “want” but choose to be👊🏻✨❤️ by @fgregorini

I directed 2 episodes of CLIPPED streaming on Hulu. My eps, 3 and 5, air tonight June 11th and June 25th. It’s a fun show about all the drama that went down with the owners of the LA Clippers. I got to work with an incredible cast: Jackie Weaver, Ed O’Niel, Lawrence Fishburn, Kelly AuCoin, Cleopatra Coleman. Written by the fab Gina Welch. Super grateful for this mad ride with these talented peeps. Always an adventure 🙌⚡️ by @fgregorini

Last night was the premier of Based on a True Story, dark comedy staring the supremely talent and hilarious Kaley Cuoco, Chris Messina and Tom Bateman. I had a blast directing episodes 6&7. All 8 episodes drop on Peacock June 8th. Totally binge worthy👊🏻✨❤️ by @fgregorini

So grateful to all who contributed to me getting to this night. List too long but you know who you are and I most certainly do. We are all connected, no one achieves things on their own. by @fgregorini

So… this happened. I’m an Emmy nominated director. Filmmaking is such a team sport that I can’t even begin to thank everyone that helped this to happen. All the immense talent in front and behind the camera on this show was astounding, literally an embracement of riches. But my directing path began long before this and so many kind, generous, talented and supportive family, friends, co-workers and reps helped, encouraged and propped me up when I needed it most. So, more than anything I want to say thank you to all of you, you know who you are. I am so grateful for today, as just yesterday I was thinking wow try as I might my career is really in the shitter. Nothing has changed expect some acknowledgement, which I gotta say feels great and it’s something we can do for one another in big and small ways whenever possible 🙏🏻✨❤️ congrats to all my fellow nominees and all the creatives working hard to put good work into the world 🙌🏻🌈 by @fgregorini
