📬 Nevada, keep an eye on your mailbox!

Ballots are arriving by mail THIS WEEK to active registered voters across Nevada. When yours arrives, take some time to review your ballot, fill it out and make your plan to vote early.

🗳️ Voting early? Complete and sign your ballot, then drop it off at an ➡️ official ballot drop box in your county ⬅️.

📍 Voting in person? Early voting runs October 17 through October 30.

Don’t wait until Election Day to figure out what happened. Visit MyBallot.NV.go to track your ballot and check its status. If your ballot does not arrive as expected or you see an issue with its status, contact your County Clerk or Registrar of Voters for help.

You can find official election information, ballot drop-off locations and county election contacts at Vote.NV.gov.

When you receive your ballot this year, you'll see two statewide ballot questions: Questions 6 and 7. The Nevada Secretary of State's 2026 election materials confirm both will appear on the General Election ballot.

Question 6 concerns adding a right to abortion to the Nevada Constitution. Question 7 concerns adding additional voter-identification requirements to the Nevada Constitution. Both appeared on the 2024 ballot and require voter approval again in 2026 to complete the constitutional amendment process.

Our goal isn't to tell you how to vote. It's to make sure you understand what you're being asked to decide.

Take some time before casting your ballot to read the official language, understand what a YES or NO vote would do and make an informed decision based on your values.

As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, we're thinking not only about celebration, but about solidarity.

Our communities have stood alongside one another before.

Black and Latino leaders joined together in the Poor People's Campaign to fight poverty and economic injustice. Mexican American and Filipino farmworkers organized together for better wages and working conditions. Across generations, communities of color have built coalitions because they understood that our struggles may not always look the same, but none of us achieves justice alone.

That history has something to teach us today.

At a time when many Latino and immigrant people are navigating fear, uncertainty and threats to their safety and well-being, solidarity with BIPOC communities matters. And solidarity has to mean more than saying we support one another. It means paying attention when another community is being harmed, speaking up, showing up and building relationships strong enough to protect and care for one another.

We will not always have the same experiences. We will not always face the same challenges. But we can refuse to let those differences keep us isolated from one another.

As Hispanic Heritage Month ends, let's carry that commitment forward. Let's keep building communities where all of us can be safe, have a voice and thrive.
