Thank you @thenevadaindependent for correcting the record on NV Energy’s #demandscam! 👏 The Nevada Environmental Justice Coalition stands with our neighbors and the Bureau of Consumer Protection (BCP)! We continue to call for the cancellation of NV Energy’s controversial daily demand charge, the first of its kind in the country.⚡️ We believe this complex and unpredictable billing method will disproportionately harm working-class Nevadans, especially our low-income neighbors. 💡 What’s your daily demand charge? 🔌 Click the link in our bio to self-report your demand charge estimate and let us know how you’ll be impacted! P.S. add us on bluesky🦋
