Happy Season ❄

I posted earlier about the slippery stuff and my God was it fun! 😄

It's 1am, still snowing, deserted streets, the fića and my camera.
I had so much fun just enjoying the perfect conditions!

I will most likely share more from this shoot plus a cool little drift video is incoming!

AFRICA WAS A DREAM 🌍 I had never stepped foot on this continent prior to this adventure but that's one more tick on the bucket list!

I do understand that it is only the north part and we didn't really see the Sahara or the Savannah etc but their influence was felt on each individual country we trekked through. I can not begin to praise the people that offered their help, time and homes out of the bottom of their hearts!

All roads that day led me to Pula.

I had never been to Istra, is was not planned... but it had to happen. Driving back to BiH from Switzerland a good friend of mine Lara said she will be on the peninsula and that I should "swing" by.

Fun fact; on the way there for the first time in my life I saw a bear in the wild. It was brief but spectacular. 🐻.

Long story short, Istra really holds some gems! From Pula to Rovinj, secluded beaches and authentic cities... this will be another destination to visit with the fam!

What feels like an eternity ago... we crept up the mountains east of Tholo. Through quiet history, folk tales and family stories shared by @frankiefresco . The type of stories that start with "Next to the grape vine, my grandfather ... " ... the good kind. The one that builds character and resilience.

Our time with @deenaverawati and Frankie in Tholo was one that will not be forgotten. The kids to this day mention their happiness along the Greek coastline.. we remember it for the calm hospitality, olive trees and golf buggies haha. taken in Tholo Beach by @ficacrew

For some reason, people assume that I am there crazy one, the one with wild ideas and wild destinations. But hand to heard this is all fueled by Lejla.

She is the one who casually says 'Iceland' or 'Iran' or 'Australia' ... I kid you not she has the idea to drive to Australia with the fića. Maybe there will be some changes with three children, but we shall figure it out.

How blessed I am that she is in my life and that she is the mother of my children. I don't usually get very personal here, but I love you @lelo.y ... you are my life companion that believes in me, that pushes me to cross all those km in life and with ficacrew :)... strong and wild and cool 😎..

We did this trip a while ago.. it was only the four of us. Soon it will be the 5 of us and the fića will be waiting in the sidelines for the kids to grow up. But that's OK, we got it better than most and we are grateful for that.

When reuniting with your cars, make sure to check:

1. OIL
2. WATER
3. RANDOM BOLTS THAT HAVE LEFT

Constant attention to little details is really required when driving these cars. Love it.

Most of us live so disconnected from nature. From the sun and moon rise, the formation of clouds, rushing rivers, the calm breeze, the strong wind, sand, beach, stars, wild animals, curious creatures, small flowers, large and ancient, towering trees.

On the island of Socotra, we didn’t just see these things—we felt them, lived them, breathed them in. Every moment was a return to something pure, something primal.

And while I wish everyone could experience this magic, I also wish they couldn’t. Places like this deserve to stay as they are—raw, authentic, and unspoiled. Over-tourism would be a tragedy here, robbing Socotra of its sacred charm. Sharing my Socotra content feels bittersweet, but it comes with a hope: that those who visit do so with care and reverence.

If you must go, let it be with people who respect this extraordinary land. I can’t recommend @socotraecotours enough—they honor Socotra’s soul and made sure every moment deepened our connection to this incredible place! taken in Socotra Island, Yemen by @ficacrew
