Opening this Friday!

WHAT IS TIME? presents works by Fiete Stolte, whose practice explores how time structures perception and everyday life.

Developing an alternative system of time — with eight days per week and 21-hour days — Stolte questions the conventions that shape our routines, rhythms, and sense of reality. His works invite viewers to reflect on time not as a fixed given, but as a system that can be reimagined.

Join us on 3 July for the exhibition opening from 6 PM to 9 PM. At 7 PM, the evening continues with the ninth edition of the radio3 Atelier Talk, bringing together exhibition artist Fiete Stolte (@fietestolte), conceptual artist Alicja Kwade (@alicjakwade), and neuroscientist Dr. Torben Ott.

Time, perception, and alternative systems in works by Fiete Stolte (@fietestolte), currently on view in ‘Was ist Zeit?’.

Across the exhibition, Fiete Stolte questions the systems we rely on to understand and measure time. Rather than offering fixed answers, the works open up space to reconsider how time is structured, perceived, and experienced.

Questioning the conventions of time, Fiete Stolte’s works invite visitors to rethink how the systems we live by shape perception and everyday life.

We were delighted to welcome conceptual artist Alicja Kwade as a guest of the ninth edition of the radio3 Atelier Talk. Together with Fiete Stolte and neuroscientist Dr. Torben Ott she joined a conversation exploring time from artistic and scientific perspectives.

On view through 11 July — Closed on Sundays.
