Today my heart ♥️ is full. David Butchee was granted parole. David entered prison at the age of 16 years old, he is now 45 years old. Laws changed and David changed. David served nearly 29 years in prison.

We would like to THANK the Virginia Parole Board for thoroughly reviewing David’s parole application and for granting second chances. We would also like to thank everyone that worked on the juvenile laws centered around parole.

I’m soooooo PROUD 🥹 of David. #WeDidIt

Feeling so blessed to be able to travel to London where my parents first met and got married. To spend time with family living in London and to be able to attend the Jay-z concert with my brother @richkidceo and my best friend @nataliasluxuryworld

I wanted to be here for Jay-z 30th anniversary because Jay inspired me to chase my dreams of freeing my brothers and sisters in the belly of beast. When I advocated for the release of my friend and he was granted freedom, I fell in love with this work. Jay had become a Board member for an organization centered around criminal justice. I knew then I wanted to become involved in the fight for freedom. After volunteering and working with a few organizations, I set out to start my own.

I’m so PROUD of how far we have come and all the incredible work we have done.

I have not met the man who inspired me, however, I celebrated in the area with the man who literally changed my life and inspired me to stay focus and driven.

What an amazing concert. I got my Ny energy back and we are about to take Fighting 4 Freedom to a whole new level. #Fighting4freedom #PowerMoves #International by @fighting_4_freedom_

The life of a Freedom Fighter. August 5th to August 6th.

Made a quick trip to Nottoway Correctional Center to meet with two parole clients, then headed to Arlington, Va. While there had dinner with a family and had a strategy discussion on a Maryland Parole case.

Before the night ended met Tywon Briscoe for the first time after he was granted parole under the West Board.
I was so thankful and grateful to meet Tywon.
I’m sooooo proud of him and all he accomplished.

Went to bed at 1:00 am to wake up at 6:00 am, advocated for my military client in front of the military Board. Had breakfast with Maceo Jones, then got back on the road. Made it home safely by 6:00 pm.

Exhausted but love 💕 fighting 4 freedom. by @fighting_4_freedom_

Thank you DeAndrez R. for choosing me to represent you during your Army Parole hearing.

This was an Incredible opportunity and I’m so impressed with the Military Parole Board members. It was a humbling experience and I learned so much more about advocating for a person convicted during a court martial.

Praying 🙏 for good news! #Fighting4freedom by @fighting_4_freedom_

About last night. Something magical happened. Memories were made. Tears flowed, we laughed, we hugged, we told stories, and we enjoyed a night of freedom. Benjamin Spell, Rodney Clark, Harry Antwan Traynham, James Daniels, John Broadnax, and Kevin Dickerson all were granted parole under the Dotson and West Parole Board. Benjamin, Rodney, Antwan, James, and Kevin were housed at Beaumont Correctional Center. These men created a brotherhood. They all worked together with Fighting 4 Freedom to regain their freedom. They came together to encourage and prepare each other. The BEST feeling was assisting 5 men in one prison come home.

The DOC should recognize the incredible warden, assistant warden and the staff at Beaumont who worked diligently to assist these men on reentering society.

Latonya and I were so honored that Michelle Dermyer joined the gathering as the men showed their gratitude and appreciation for all that was done to regain their freedom. Ms. Dermyer was instrumental in each of their grant.

We would like to thank each one for trusting @fighting_4_freedom_ with the process of advocacy for their release and the representation we gave each case. 6 men are home with their families and loved ones because of our dedication to fighting 4 freedom.

The celebration was a joyous occasion to celebrate freedom. Antwan celebrated his one year freedom anniversary.

When people ask us what is our mission. This is it. #Freedom

Thank you to Everyone one who played a part in these men lives, you Rock! Thank everyone who supports Fighting 4 Freedom. Most importantly THANK every Board member that voted to grant parole.

We THANK YOU 😊 by @fighting_4_freedom_
