we’ve been scheming on monthly community events for a while and now they’re happening!!

these events are designed to be low-pressure, super sweet hangs. introverts and non-pole dancers more than welcome.

thank you @sev.bone for stepping up to organize and plan these 🤍

** $5 to attend (which helps us cover the cost of supplies 🫖) | please sign up as you would a normal class so we can have you fill out the liability form

Hi PDX,

I’m a little late dropping this shoot announcement but by request I’m bringing my double exposure shoot to @figtreepole (obvi).

I bring this shoot together by loading my film camera( sometimes multiple cameras at once) and taking photos of Earthly elements ( clouds, waves, sunsets, cactus, flowers and mountains). Then I rewind those film rolls and store them away to shoot on top of with images of dancers. It is truly a labor of love and the most film nerd project I’ve created this far.

Saturday October 17th
10-12pm
Only 3 spots left
25 minute shoots
$300

Swer sliding scale $250-300

$100 non-refundable deposit due at booking

at july’s end, i decided to do a capacity check and say YES to pole for the month of august. i ended up teaching 16 classes and attending 8 as a student (also went to yoga 5x)

8/31 i took the kids to the lake after school, and was determined to afterwards make it to fig bc somehow a YEAR had passed without seeing @_slinky_d ‼️

phone ran out of storage in the middle of class, but i caught my first + last attempts at this shape, ft. fatigue, messy transitions, and finding my sea [air] legs — a life metaphor

there are many urgent important tasks with which i’m overwhelmed that i haven’t done, and yet in other areas of life i’m confident i can do more.. i’m proud of myself both for respecting my limitations and considering when i’m limiting myself with old beliefs

i want to give up and i want to keep trying
