sometimes I feel like I live the way I freestyle; following pure instinct, a little messy around the edges, and always full out ✌️

Hi PDX,

I’m a little late dropping this shoot announcement but by request I’m bringing my double exposure shoot to @figtreepole (obvi).

I bring this shoot together by loading my film camera( sometimes multiple cameras at once) and taking photos of Earthly elements ( clouds, waves, sunsets, cactus, flowers and mountains). Then I rewind those film rolls and store them away to shoot on top of with images of dancers. It is truly a labor of love and the most film nerd project I’ve created this far.

Saturday October 17th
10-12pm
Only 3 spots left
25 minute shoots
$300

Swer sliding scale $250-300

$100 non-refundable deposit due at booking

so I’ve really been enjoying leaning into who I am and finding ways to break down old walls and barriers that have stopped me in the past from being my very true self and by thinking about this, pondering it, wondering about it, I’m starting to appreciate moments that otherwise would have made me feel some type of way that went against what I really felt due to some lame reason that would typically invoke shame or guilt
it’s not as easy as flipping a switch, sometimes I find myself stuck in a spiral of feelings and thoughts that don’t belong but the more authentic I become, the harder I push back against all these things that were laid before me, without me, but for me, the more free I feel from the confines of ‘what is expected of me’
lol and seriously fuck that shit, they told me I couldn’t just sit around and look pretty, that I had to do this and do that but guess what? I damn well can sit around and look pretty AND I think I’m quite good at it if I do say so myself

so cheers to being you and following your heart and flipping off everyone who tells you to do differently

My angelCori up North keeps my eyes a’twinkle (and my thighs a’bruised, at least this day) — ::: footage of the only pole lesson I could handle that day lol.

Sounds:
Abraham Hicks — my G — spitting the truth (a screen recording I have from February), layered with a song Cori played when we were on our way to catharsis-dance with 40 other womxn. Sounds with timings working together, perfectly, as always.

Fun and awe at @figtreepole
