The new Filpucci Collection AW 27/28 represents our most refined approach to yarn research, bringing together the elegance of precious fibres and four distinct creative directions.

From the nature-inspired textures of Botanical to the delicate lightness of Solstice, the collection explores different expressions of comfort, texture and material beauty. Restful introduces a softer, more protective approach to knitwear, while Atelier brings an Art Deco influence through sophisticated surfaces, subtle metallic highlights and decorative details.

Memory as a starting point, yarn as a way to translate it. 🧶✨
We are pleased to share the work of Fernanda Castro | @efimmero , a designer from @ifmknitwearma , who developed her project “Borla” using Filpucci yarns Viscrepe and Scilla.

Developed within a pedagogical partnership with Maison Christian Dior Couture, with no commercial scope, the project takes inspiration from the tassels connected to Fernanda’s mother and her work, opening a personal reflection on memory, decoration and textile gestures.

Looking at the decorative language of the 18th century and the interiors of the Château de Versailles, Fernanda translated these references through yarn, technique and material sensitivity.

For Filpucci, projects like this show how materials can hold personal references and open them to a wider design conversation, becoming part of a young designer’s own way of shaping contemporary knitwear.

Venice: colour, craft and slow observation. ✨
In September, Venice became a place of research: workshops, exhibitions and installations where colour, handwork and material culture could be observed up close.

At Orsoni Venezia, the historic furnace and its extraordinary colour library offered a rare look at colour as a craft: glass, gold leaf and techniques preserved through time, still able to inspire fashion and design today.

At Homo Faber, Es Devlin’s installation “A Great Turning” opened a poetic reflection on craft, material intelligence and the human hand. Across the Biennale atmosphere, attention moved towards detail: ceramics, mosaics, natural shades, printed silk threads and handworked surfaces, each one inviting a slower way of looking.

The same sensitivity continued through the Fondazione Dries Van Noten exhibition and Slowness and Depth in an Accelerated Society, where objects, garments and materials returned attention to process, time and the human hand.

We came back with our eyes full of beauty, and with a simple thought: in fashion, the future does not always begin with speed. Sometimes, it begins with patient hands, careful colour and details that carry time.

New references, ready to become texture, shade and yarn. 🧶✨

Precious fibres, interpreted by @eileenfisherny 🧶✨

We are proud to see Cashcot, a Filpucci yarn made of 70% organic cotton and 30% recycled cashmere, become part of the Eileen Fisher Fall 2026 Design Edit.

The yarn is used in the Generational Sweater, a relaxed crew-neck knit with modern proportions, ribbed details and a soft, generous shape designed to move naturally through the season.

In Cashcot, organic cotton meets recycled cashmere, bringing together lightness, softness and a thoughtful approach to precious fibres.

A design that reflects the value of careful fibre choices, bringing together longevity, comfort and a deeper awareness of materials in garments designed for everyday life.

Milano: surreal, conceptual, alive with fashion. ✨
During Milano Fashion Week, our Style Team moved through exhibitions, installations and creative spaces, following the rhythm of a city where fashion becomes image, gesture and cultural research. 🇮🇹✨

At Palazzo Reale, Dalí e la Moda opened a dialogue between surrealism and the body: unexpected forms, dreamlike references and a visual language suspended between art, identity and imagination.

From there, Viktor&Rolf. Spectrum at 10 Corso Como offered an immersion into fashion as concept and construction: theatrical, precise, ironic, yet deeply refined.

Across the city, the research also opened onto new perspectives: from the Fashion Hub at Palazzo Morando, with its focus on emerging talents, to Voices of Denim at Casa degli Artisti, the project by AFRO Fashion Association and Levi’s exploring denim as a language of memory, identity and contemporary culture.

These moments become part of our research process: fragments, colours, silhouettes and atmospheres that slowly evolve into new ideas for yarn. 🧶✨

A delicate construction of light, texture and finesse. 🧶✨

We are proud to support the work of Christian Ye, | @christianye_ a designer from @ifmknitwearma , who created a beautiful lace dress using our Vismat Crepe NM 30000 yarn in Optical White.

Developed within a pedagogical partnership with Maison Christian Dior Couture, with no commercial scope, the project reflects a thoughtful process of artistic research and knitwear experimentation.

In this work, the yarn supports the lace construction with lightness and definition, allowing transparency, structure and movement to come through. A piece shaped by technique, sensitivity and a clear knitwear vision.

Projects like this reflect the value of our connection with fashion schools and young designers, where material research becomes a tool for experimentation, interpretation and new creative directions.

For AW 27/28, texture becomes a language of its own. Brushed halos, irregular bouclés, airy volumes, graphic stitches and luminous finishes move between softness and structure, restraint and decoration.

Materials evolve through construction: surfaces become fuller, lighter and more tactile, while stitch and proportion change the way each yarn is perceived and give it a distinct visual rhythm.

Together, these references trace a material landscape shaped by contrast, touch and experimentation, where yarn becomes the starting point for new expressions of volume and form.

A new project from @ifmknitwearma ,shaped through material research and knitwear experimentation. 🧶✨

We are pleased to share the work of Zepkó Ferenc | @fecozk , developed for the Dior Project.

Created within a pedagogical partnership with Maison Christian Dior Couture, with no commercial purpose, the project reflects a thoughtful approach to form, surface and material expression.

For these pieces, Ferenc worked with a mix of Filpucci yarns: Dinamico Crepe, Vismat Crepe and Viscrepe.

For us, it is always a pleasure to see our materials interpreted with such sensitivity by young designers, opening new possibilities for contemporary knitwear.

Filpucci yarns, interpreted through embroidery. 🧶✨

For the 99th edition of @pittimmagine Filati, @nrgy.srl developed a series of textile panels using Filpucci yarns, presented at our stand as part of our material research for contemporary knitwear.

Through embroidery, stitch and surface work, the panels showed how yarn can move beyond construction, becoming relief, texture and visual depth. A project shaped by technical sensitivity and textile expertise, where Filpucci materials found a new expression through NRGY’s expertise.

In the last two images, the black sections were enriched by Blu di Prussia with a leather-effect coating, adding contrast and another layer of material character.

Antwerp, through the eyes of our Style Team. ✨🇧🇪

A recent research journey led us to MoMu – Fashion Museum Antwerp, to visit The Antwerp Six, the exhibition dedicated to Dirk Bikkembergs, Ann Demeulemeester, Walter Van Beirendonck, Dries Van Noten, Dirk Van Saene and Marina Yee: six designers who helped shape the identity of Antwerp as a fashion capital.

More than a retrospective, the exhibition offered a close look at six distinct creative voices: different attitudes, methods and silhouettes, all emerging from the same cultural ground.

For us, moments like this are part of the way research begins.
Through archives, garments, colors and unexpected details, references start to move, opening new directions for material thinking and future yarn developments.

Observation becomes inspiration.
Inspiration becomes yarn. 🧶✨
