‘I Wish’ is live on YouTube now !! If you have 3 minutes to spare head over to @melatonical YouTube channel to go watch it (link in also in my bio). This project is super special to me as not only did I get to collaborate with them again for this film on the script , and their beautiful cinematography editing abd score, but also had my long time friend @emma.rebecca.03 join the team as the leading lady, (first time acting can you believe) as well as contributing her skills in styling and prop making too. We both also tried out a new skill of animation for this film , which I believe is the magic touch that tied together the beautiful visuals and story we created about childhood memories, wishful thinking and confronting what you keep inside. And massive thank you to @films_newgenesis again for selecting ‘I Wish’ as the winner of their 1 month filmmaking competition (still can’t believe we made this in a month ) and it will be screened in Brighton at their festival in September! by @fin.ography

A little film photo dump- I have really enjoyed starting to take photos on my Olympus Trip 100 ponit and shoot film camera I bought this year. I find it’s such a beautiful way to capture my life and the memories I make with people I love , making me really think about the photo I’m talking. Hopefully one day I can invest in a proper film camera. But for now, I’m enjoying seeing my life though the lens of my point and shoot

Shout out to my lovely family and friends (and Willow ) for letting me capture these moments with you and for making this year really special to me . 🫶 by @fin.ography

Film bts photos of ‘I Wish’ - a short film made in collaboration with @emma.rebecca.03 @melatonicfilm for the @films_newgenesis 1 month film competition.

Had so much fun on this little shoot a couple weeks back and it’s been great getting back into short filmmaking process, working with two of my talented friends and seeing what we can make in a short time span. Super proud of how this short film is coming along and can’t wait to share what we have done!

Bts photos taken by me using Olympus Trip 100 point and shoot film camera on Kodiak 400 ISO film.
