some of my favourite shots from I WISH, a whimsical short film made by me, @emma.rebecca.03 and @fin.ography 💗

i loved overlaying so many different shots here, the creative freedom i had for this film made my heart so happy <3

the colours in this shot are so divine 🤍

probably my favourite shot of the film. there’s a shot near the end of the film that perfectly mirrors this one and shows the protagonists journey so perfectly!

this entire sequence is just so satisfying!

my laptop near flew away from the amount of rotoscoping i did for this film (but i reckon it was worth it?)

i wish is out on youtube now! link in bio to watch <3

I WISH is a whimsical short film made by finlee shipstone, emma filby and m louise✨
“an unhappy Eve finds her mind wandering astray when she feels disconnected from her ‘friends’ at her eighteenth birthday party. to find out what she really wishes for, she must explore her memories to rediscover why she wants to disappear, and find her way back home before the wish is complete.
I WISH explores themes of disconnection through the lens of childhood memories and nostalgia.”
