My 3 daughters have $244,384.75 invested, and we are just getting started.

529s, Roth IRAs, and custodial brokerage accounts, built one intentional choice at a time. I did it as a working nurse and a single mom, no windfall needed.

My girls will never have to start from zero like I did.

Inside Wealth Ready, you get simple coaching, a supportive community, and a clear plan to start investing for your kids with confidence.

At just 10 years old, my daughter already reached six figures in her investments.

We have been intentional using three accounts:

529 Plan: for college expenses only, grows tax free when used for education

Custodial Brokerage: an investment account in her name she can access at 18, flexible for anything she wants

Roth IRA: grows tax free for retirement since she earns income acting in my brand’s content

It always cracks me up when people ask if that’s against child labor laws. No, she earns income just like any other child actor, and her money grows tax free.

Start building for your kids now so they can step into adulthood with options, not obstacles.

Inside Wealth Ready, you get simple coaching, a supportive community, and a clear plan so you can start investing for your kids with confidence, no matter where you are starting from.

I added up every single investment account in our family.
Here’s what we have today:

My total: $902,331.16
Naima’s total: $187,408.86
Aya’s total: $49,091.39
Zuri’s total: $7,884.50

Family total invested right now: $1,146,715.91

Now here’s where it gets fun.
If none of us invests another dollar and everything grows at 8% until our assumed retirement age of 65:

My accounts at 65: ~$4.54 million
Naima at 65: ~$11.96 million
Aya at 65: ~$4.60 million
Zuri at 65: ~$1.01 million

All from what we’ve already invested.

My girls are on track to start life with a million dollar head start. That is what breaking a cycle looks like.

I’m Naseema. A Labor and Delivery nurse, a single mom of 3 daughters, and a millennial overachieving Black woman who paid off $1 million in debt and built a seven figure net worth without leaving my day job.

Welcome to the side of the internet where money is not taboo. We talk about how to build and keep wealth without the jargon, pay transparency, raising rich kids, and everything in between that comes with being a Black woman doing it all.

If this is your vibe, follow along.

And if you’re ready to start building wealth for yourself and be surrounded by a community that is actually doing the work, comment WEALTH and I’ll send you the details on how to join. by @financiallyintentional

Still scared to invest?

Yeah. I was too.

I didn't start investing until I was 36. And now? If I never invest another dollar, I'm still on track for $3.5 MILLION at retirement.

2009 wrecked me. 2 foreclosures. 2 short sales. Bankruptcy. I avoided investing because I was scared to lose again, and honestly, I didn't understand it.

Then I learned investing doesn't have to be complicated. You don't need to "time the market." You don't need to be perfect. You need a SIMPLE system and the discipline to stick to it.

In 2017, I went all in. Now my investments make more per month than I do as a nurse.

If you're still sitting on the sidelines "waiting to learn more," you're leaving too much money on the table. Every year you wait is thousands (if not millions) left behind.

So let's fix it.

I added up every single investment account in our family.
Here’s what we have today, no sugar-coating:

My total : $745,073.99
Naima’s total: $143,861.68
Aya’s total: $41,944.30
Zuri’s total: $4,722.37

Family total invested right now: $935,602.34

Now here’s where it gets fun.
If none of us invest another dollar and everything grows at 8 percent:

My accounts at 65: ~$3.75 million
Naima at 65: ~$9.18 million
Aya at 65: ~$3.93 million
Zuri at 65: ~$602k

All from what we’ve already invested.

This is the power of starting early and keeping it simple.

Alexis just opened her Fidelity Roth IRA with $50 and had NO idea what to do next. So Imma walk her through the whole thing 👇🏾

We picked a simple investment, set up a $10 a month recurring contribution, and now her money is working on autopilot. That is IT. No fancy finance degree required.

This is exactly how you start when you feel like you do not have enough money to invest. $50 is enough. $10 a month is enough. Starting is everything!

💬 Comment “SIMPLE” and I’ll send you my Hella Simple Investing eBook so you can set this up for yourself too. Step by step.

📌 Save this post so you can come back to it when you are ready.

Let me break down how we’re setting them up. Each of them has 3 investment accounts:

📘 529 Plan = The Family Bank
If one child doesn’t go to college, no stress — I can change the beneficiary or use it for another kid. These funds can also be transferred to a Roth IRA or even used for housing expenses down the line. Flexibility is everything.

💼 Custodial Brokerage (UTMA)
This is money for their first car, first apartment, or home down payment. It’s their stepping stone into adulthood with options, not struggle.

💸 Roth IRA
Yes, kids can have Roth IRAs — if they have earned income. My kids earn money doing things like helping in my biz or even appearing in reels like this one 👀 That money grows tax-free for life.

📊 This is how I’m building generational wealth intentionally and showing them the ropes while they grow.

👇🏾 Want to do this for your babies too?

🚨 If me and my kids never invested another dime and just let what we already saved grow… we’d still retire with millions.

Here’s what we’ve invested so far:
✨ Naima (11): $122,555
✨ Aya (6): $38,674
✨ Zuri (2): $3,671
✨ Me (Naseema, 44): $701,407

That’s over $866,000 total invested already. That’s the power of starting early and letting compound interest do its thing. I’ve been investing for myself and my kids so we can all have options later in life.

And trust — we’re not stopping here. We’re going to keep stacking and building even more.

📌 Assumptions:
✅ 8% average annual return
✅ No more contributions
✅ Growth until age 65

If you’re ready to learn how I’m investing for myself and my kids so we can all win, comment ‘rich’ below to join my challenge starting August 4. Let’s set your family up too. 🖤💼💎

My whole crew is set. 🌱👑

Each of my three kids has three accounts working for them right now.

📚 The 529 is for their educational expenses. College, trade school, whatever path they choose, that tuition is already being handled.

🏠 The custodial brokerage account (UTMA) is for their first house, their first car, and a jump start on adult expenses. By the time they need it, it will already be there waiting for them.

💰 The Roth IRA is to jump start their retirement. Most people don’t start thinking about retirement until their 30s or 40s. My kids already have a head start.

Comment “KIDS” if you want to learn how to set your kids up like this too. I’ll send you my Investing for Kids ebook. by @financiallyintentional
