just because it's hard doesn't mean it isn't worth the work.

Writing at least one sentence every day hasn't been easy but I'm still going strong! And I'm noticing a theme... Im worried about the future lol. But taking the time to quiet my mind has helped me realize I'm not as lost as I sometimes feel.

It's Day 2 of my September Write Every Day Challenge and the word of the day is HOPE. I'm making a list of everything I'm hopeful for in this life.

I started Finding The Right Words 3 years ago (!!!) to challenge myself to start writing again every day for 30 days straight. Since then, at least once a year, I’ll challenge myself (and all of you) to journal for a whole month non-stop.

And as I approach this year’s anniversary, I’m thinking… WHO HAS TIME FOR ALL THAT?! The answer is: not me!

But here’s the thing: I am worth my own time. I love to journal. And I need to make space for the things I love.

So I’m challenging myself again. I need to write. Every. Day. At least one sentence. At least one minute for myself and my thoughts daily. That’s the challenge this month and honestly every day going forward: to make time for me.
