I’m fortunate enough in this lifetime to have a sister-in-law who has always felt like my sister. Frances, thank you for sleeping over at my place when you were visiting @joe_carrollmich at school… I know it’s only because my bathroom was cleaner, but it was always my favorite.

Today the family grows by one with the greatest guy @kylewollet. @fr4nmcarr I’m overjoyed you found your person. I love you both and I love your love. So stinking much. Congratulations to my sis and my new brother! #fryleforever

We voted absentee so we didn’t get stickers, but I checked the status of my ballot every day and when I got that “ballot received and valid” notice I was emotional. I know I’m not unique in feeling that this election is the most important in my lifetime, in my unborn children’s lifetime. So here is my scream in the echo chamber that is Instagram. A scream full of anxiety but also of immense hope. I voted for empathy, for equality, for science, for my family, my friends, for people I’ll never know, and for a country I so desperately want to believe in. Everyone take care of yourselves in the coming days. Cross your fingers, pray, drink, breathe, drink, repeat. (Yes, I said drink twice on purpose) I love you. by @finkeboutit

Thank you @beanartshero for inviting me to participate in this morning’s moving demonstration. “Will I lose my dignity? Will someone care?”

Early this morning I got to stand in an empty Times Square with 100 artists representing 5.1 million hard-working Americans in every town, city, and state who are struggling. We were told we weren’t making enough noise...which is funny because within our artistic community we all feel as though we have been screaming and gasping for air.

So we are asking Congress “Will I lose my dignity? Will someone care?” We are an 8.77 BILLION dollar industry. We are NYC’s main economic driver. In 2019 the arts and arts adjacent businesses contributed more to the economy than all the sports teams in NY and NJ COMBINED.

@senschumer @kirstengillibrand you KNOW how important the arts are to our city and our state.

Please #beanartshero and support the DAWN ACT allocating $43.85 billion in relief to the arts. There can be no full American economic recovery without a robust Arts & Culture recovery.

FRIENDS... tags some friends! @mattfdoyle @smassellsings @colenciaprovencia @chwils @akatcard @jenncolella @rjbrownjr @iamreedcampbell @dan_tracy @stephmartignetti @bashorw @amyrberryman @thedelondotcom @caesarsamayoa @petra_koz @keonemadrid @_marimadrid
