Mom and dad are taking over Finn’s Instagram. It’s Finn’s 7th birthday!! This year has been full of changes we could have never expected, but Finn has done a great job adapting as any only child can. Though he might not have had as many adventures as in years past, Finn still kept us on our toes every day. We couldn’t ask for a better “big brother” for Niko. We can’t wait to watch them grow together. Happy birthday buddy!

Niko is already 6 weeks old! We got our pictures back from @brittneyrayphotography a few days ago and couldn’t be happier! She perfectly captured our growing family. I especially love the picture with Niko in the cradle. When I was born, my grandpa made the cradle for me and the quilt inside was sewn by his mom, Grandma Elsie, while she was in the hospital. The quilt wound up being the last one she made before passing, just a few months before I was born. I’m happy to be able to pass on these heirlooms on to Niko in hopes that one day they will go to his kid.

Hi everyone. It’s Finn’s dad. Yesterday Finn demonstrated what good recall and training can do for a dog and its owner. After getting home, our neighbor’s dogs charged across the street and went to go past me to get to Finn. He listened to my commands and remained on the steps until I made contact with one dog. Then all bets were off and he was as in protect dad mode. As you’ll see in the video, he goes for the second dog and as soon as I recalled, he returned to the porch and remained there while the owner got her dogs. So if you have a dog, don’t be like our neighbor. Spend the money and time and find a good trainer. And good job Finn for listening. (Also I have no idea why the camera goes to black and white randomly)

For my birthday this year, mom and dad got me a new car that the whole back window rolls down on. How cool!!! Then I got to pick out a new toy and got my favorite dessert in the whole worlds. Pumpkin and whipped cream! Thanks mom and dad!
