We’re thrilled to be partnering with @rnccoffee on our new Kiitos blend coffee! “Kiitos” is a Finnish word that means “thank you,” an appreciative nod to the community for its unwavering support of the effort to re-open the Hoito over the last two years! We would also like to thank Rose N Crantz Roasting Co for their dedication to our collaboration and perfectly executing our vision for the Hoito’s new coffee! Swipe to read about the kiitos blend and to see our current list of retailers! by @finncooptb

Celebrated since 1923 and officially recognized by the UN in 1995, the first Saturday of July celbrates International Co-operatives Day. This year's theme is Co-operatives build a better future for all and the Finlandia Co-operative of Thunder Bay is working hard not only to make the food, but the cohesive and collective network that made the original Hoito such a success. Many hands make light work.

So in celebration, we're GIVING AWAY PANCAKES to our members, as thanks for being part of something bigger. So come on down to the Thunder Bay Country Market on Saturday 6 July between 8am and 1pm for some lättyjä but don't forget to bring your membership card, or ask for it when you comeé

If you want free pancakes but you're not a member, that's ok! We're selling memberships tomorrow too! Come get yours and you'll get the pancakes too!

We're taking a much needed vacation while the CLE takes over our space at the Thunder Bay Country Market. The Hoito Market Stand will be closed from August 2-18th, but we'll have the griddles fired up and ready to go when the Market returns on Saturday, August 19th! If you're craving Finn pancakes before then, make sure to pick a bag of our popular Hoito pancake mixes at one of many fine locations across Thunder Bay. Thanks for your overwhelming support, see you in three weeks! ❤️🇫🇮🥞💙 by @finncooptb
