Really great news. GRACE has been selected for @newportbeachfilmfest Very excited about this one. 27th Newport Beach Film Festival is in October 15-22, 2026! Tickets now on sale on their website for any friends in California. GRACE is showing as part of a collection of Irish shorts, and the festival has a celebration of Irish films that weekend. GRACE, our Royal Television Society award winning short film for RTE/ Screen Ireland is screening in the IFI @irishfilminstitute as part of Culture Ireland this coming Friday the 18th of September at 18.10. GRACE tells the story of a young woman who has Down Syndrome who yearns for love, a relationship and more freedom to make her own decisions. We are very happy that THE BALKAN COWBOY will have its World Premiere at the 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival - South East Europe’s largest film festival. We are screening in the prestigious competition programme.

Thank you so much to our cast and crew, and everyone who helped us to make this film over many years.
This documentary was made possible through development support from @screenireland and @northernirelandscreen through the pitch competition at Docs Ireland. We are very grateful to our commissioning editors/ funders Niamh Fagan at Screen Ireland, Aifric Ni Chianain and Colm O’ Callaghan at RTÉ and all at Coimisiún na Meán, Section 481, and our fellow producer in Croatia Oliver Sertić at Restart & to HAVC who funded this film.

Artist Dragana Jurišić travels to the town of Bijeljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, to make a short film in the style of the mythical cult Western director Hari Džekson (Harry Jackson) in an attempt to uncover the story of Džekson’s life and legacy. The resulting documentary becomes an exploration of the impact of war on Džekson, Jurišić herself, and the town. It also asks whether the spirit of Hari Džekson still exists today.
