Celebrate the festive season at Fischer’s…🎄✨

There’s something magical about Christmas in the Peak District.

From winter walks, Christmas markets and visits to Chatsworth, to cosy afternoons by the log fire, festive lunches, dinner in the restaurant, and some time away from the Christmas hustle, it’s the perfect setting for a little festive escape. ✨

This year, we have plenty planned throughout the festive season, from our Festive Breaks and private dining to Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day lunches.

Take a look on our website and start planning your Christmas at Fischer’s.

Guy’s back from holiday this week, with a new stand-in while Alice is away… Meet Phoebe, aka Alice Senior! 🍷🦙

With the evenings getting a little cooler, Guy’s picked a lovely Matetic Corralillo Carménère. Expect rich red and dark fruit flavours, warming spice and a hint of pepper, balanced with a lovely freshness. Perfect for an autumn evening with dinner followed by a glass by the fire. 🍂

Enjoy!

“Fischer’s is one of those places that stays with you as much for the feelings as for the food. A quiet reminder of why this little corner of Derbyshire feels so special.”

It was such a pleasure to welcome the team from @reflectionsmag for lunch recently.❤️

Thank you for such a fabulous review of the food, Café Max and the whole Fischer’s experience. We’re so pleased you enjoyed your visit.

While Guy’s away… Alice & Nell will play 🍷🐈

And with the evenings getting a little cooler, Alice has picked a beautiful Dalrymple Pinot Noir. A lovely one to reach for as autumn starts to creep in. 🍂

Elegant, silky and full of ripe red fruit, with a lovely freshness, perfect for those cosy, cooler evenings.

And before Neil asks… we absolutely did NOT feed the cat for this video. 👀😂

A beautiful sunny Christening at @fischersbaslow 🤍

We were delighted to be invited to set up for a family Christening at the beautiful Baslow Hall.

We set up our outdoor games and some toys in the stunning gardens as well as a little play corner inside for the smaller children to enjoy.

Remember we don't just do weddings. Our play corners can be set up for any occasion to keep the little ones busy and entertained throughout your celebrations 🤍
