South Side, Chicago. 🖤

It’s more than where the game is played. It’s the people, the culture, the CTA rolling by, the Sox fitteds and that unmistakable Chicago energy.

This is what the South Side looks like through my lens. 📸

Chicago is in the details.

The jerseys. The fitteds. The conversations between innings. Generations of Sox fans sitting side by side.

Everybody has their own reason for loving this

This is why I love photographing people.

Not posed. Not planned. Just somebody completely caught up in the moment.

Pure Chicago

Hands up. Voices gone. Strangers cheering together like they’ve known each other for years.

That’s the beauty of sports…for a few hours, everybody belongs to the same team.

And somewhere between documenting the people, the city and everything happening in the stands…

there was still a baseball game to capture. 😂⚾️

The moments between the cheers.
The pitch. The anticipation. Everybody watching and waiting.

The game is part of the story.

The people ARE the story.

Chicago has a way of bringing every kind of person together, and somehow the city still feels like one big neighborhood.

There’s something about baseball under the lights.

Everything slows down right before the pitch.

Look around.

Thousands of different stories, one city.

The game happening beyond the net, cold beer moving through the stands, people yelling over each other…

The little moments are what make the ballpark feel like the ballpark.

Chicago summer nights. 🍺⚾️

Sometimes you don’t need to see a face to know exactly where you are.

A Sox fitted, green grass and a seat at the ballpark.

Chicago. That’s it. That’s the caption. 🖤

And when that flag starts waving…

SOX WIN. SOUTH SIDE WIN. CHICAGO WIN. 🏴

There’s nothing quite like seeing the hometown celebrate.

Honorable mention to a Chicago legend — George Daniels. 🖤

If you know Chicago, you know the name. A true piece of the city’s culture and history. taken in Chicago, Illinois by @fitcodemedia

God never said we couldn’t enjoy beautiful things, build wealth, or experience the fullness of life. The reminder is to enjoy the blessing without making the blessing an idol. Stay humble enough to remember where it came from, generous enough to bless others, and grounded enough to know that none of it determines your worth. 🤎

Have it. Enjoy it. Appreciate it. Just keep God above it. ✝️

📖 1 Timothy 6:17
“Put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.”

Blessed, but humble. Abundant, but grounded. God first, always. taken in Chicago, Illinois by @fitcodemedia

Movement. Wellness. Community. Chicago. 📸✨

Keke Palmer brought Practice by Palmer home to Chicagoland for an unforgettable day of movement at MOVE at the Shed, held at The Salt Shed. @saltshedchicago @keke

From leading a packed mat Pilates session to sharing the heart behind her growing presence in the wellness industry, Keke is helping shift the conversation around fitness, reminding us that wellness isn’t about perfection or fitting a certain image. It’s about mobility, strength, feeling good in your body and creating practices that fit your real life.

The day went beyond the workout. Val Warner hosted an amazing Q&A with Keke, creating space for laughter, conversation and a deeper look into her journey with wellness and what inspired Practice by Palmer. @valwarnertv

And Chicago showed Keke some love of its own. 🏆 Chicago Department of Public Health Commissioner Dr. Garth Walker presented her with a City of Chicago resolution officially proclaiming September 13, 2026 as “Practice by Palmer Day.” 💚 @chipublichealth

From Pilates to conversation to recognition, this was wellness, culture and community all in one space.

The month of August is Footwork Appreciation Month 🦶🏾🔥

Fast feet. Big energy. Pure Chicago. 🏙️

Footwork is more than the moves…It’s the music, the battles, the style, the community and the culture that Chicago created and continues to carry.

You can’t talk Chicago without giving flowers to the culture that came straight from these streets. 💨🔥

This is Chicago Footwork.

Chicago culture, caught in motion. 💧📸
