11 weeks of GROWTH 🍑

My client Chantel came to me with the goal of wanting to grow more shape, increase her strength in the gym and have a total program refresh.

Here’s what we did:

- Increased from maintenance calories to 2,500+ calories daily
- 5-day training split with progressive overload
- No step target, but consistently averaging around 5k steps daily

And the results? 👀

Not only are we starting to see some serious growth, especially through the glutes, but Chantel has also noticed a huge improvement in her mindset, mood and energy levels.

And as a night-shift worker, this is HUGE. 🙌

This is exactly why your approach to training and nutrition needs to be tailored to you. Not based on generic plans or what someone else is doing.

If you’re ready to build more shape, get stronger and actually enjoy the process, DM me “GROWTH” and let’s chat about what we could achieve together. 🍑 by @fitphilli.performance

One I woke up and realised I no longer felt uncomfortable in my own skin. If my weight fluctuated, if I was stage lean or mid bulk, I no longer felt like hiding.

This wasn’t something that happened overnight, it took countless days, numerous failures, missed sessions, late nights, early mornings and a whole lot of repetition. Confidence isn’t something that you can switch on like a light, it takes time, effort and sometimes a lot of energy but that doesn’t mean it’s not possible.

Finally being able to look in the mirror and feel good about what you’re seeing isn’t impossible.

Perhaps in order to feel good in your own skin, you need a bit of patience, perseverance and guidance. by @fitphilli.performance

Jumping on the next trend is exactly why you’re stuck at the same “before” photo. This is my own transformation, it didn’t happen in 6 weeks by following a “summer shred” plan, it came from consistent efforts and working with a coach.

This transformation is deeper than physical for me and after speaking with so many women in the space, I know it’s the same for so many others. This is exactly what I help my clients achieve, a physical and mental transformation, helping them find a confidence that isn’t determined by how they look.

If you’re tired of feeling stuck, DM “plan” and let’s watch the magic happen. đŸȘ„ by @fitphilli.performance

Starting can be scary, you don’t know what to expect and it’s easier to stay where you are than to take a chance BUT taking said chance could change so much more than just your fitness. Your mental health improves, you have more energy, you develop more love for yourself and those around you, life just gets better! Swipe to find a few helpful tips that could make “just starting” a lot less daunting and share with someone who’s having trouble getting started đŸ€Ž by @fitphilli.performance

Imma be so real with you right now
I know what you’re thinking when you look in the mirror. I know you feel ashamed when you eat something “bad” or you miss a workout. I was there and I felt how uncomfortable you and so many other women feel. When I asked myself “what’s stopping me from creating effective change?” I couldn’t answer the question.

So I started with a coach, I learnt what habit stacking was, I learnt how to read a food label, I learnt what real consistency looked like. Everything finally made sense and I finally beat the version of myself who was stuck in the same cycle of hating myself into change and then letting myself down.

So ask yourself, what is stopping you from making effective change? by @fitphilli.performance

Here’s your friendly reminder that in order to get from point A to point B, you need to actually start đŸ€Ž

I remember I was the girl hating what she saw in the mirror, I didn’t want to try anything new, I didn’t want to sign up with a coach bc I didn’t want it to be known that I was trying. I finally hit “fuck it” and that was the moment my life changed!

I kept showing up, imperfect week after imperfect week, and somewhere along the way I changed. I no longer looked in the mirror and hated what I was looking at, I no longer felt uncomfortable in my own skin and I was willing to give anything a go at least once.

Now I’m insufferable. I feel good in my skin and I take up space and walk with confidence. Once I get an idea, I don’t stop until I get it bc I know that as long as I keep working at it, I’ll get the result I want. Weight loss. Body building. Cross fit. A new career. You name it.

What started as me wanting to lose some fat and wanting to like what I saw in the mirror, turned into a whole new mindset and life. What’s stopping you? by @fitphilli.performance

The reason you keep starting over is bc you’re trying to change too much all at once and not sticking to it. What you should be doing is making small sustainable changes each week, changes you can commit to and maintain.

This is habit stacking. It means the changes you’re making become easy to maintain, they fit into your lifestyle and don’t take a lot of thinking or effort to do each day.

What’s one habit you can try implement this week? by @fitphilli.performance

My clients often ask me how to eat out and still stay on track. Depending on what stage of their journey and what their goal is, the answer is slightly different but the general theme is to plan ahead, track and adjust the rest of your day of eats to fit your total daily calories and macro targets.

This is something that takes practice to perfect, so I get my clients just tracking first. This gives them data to see what they’re putting in their body and allows them to make more informed choices on their own moving forward.

If you see with your own eyes that 5 slices of pizza is going to be about 1850 calories but a pasta is 500 calories. You might want to pick the pasta as it will be easier to have your normal meals throughout the day without sacrificing too much.

The aim is to build the knowledge and confidence to make these decisions for yourself, without feeling like one meal will throw you off track. Learning how to navigate situations like this is a big part of building sustainable results.

If this is something you struggle with, it’s exactly the kind of thing I help my clients work through. đŸ€Ž by @fitphilli.performance
