While many of my friends are dropping their children off at their college dorms. We are starting with a fresh kindergartner and 5th Grader. They continue to teach me it’s not how you start your day but how you end it. Cheers to a beautiful school year and let’s keep being fantastic little people. by @fitzmimi

🎨🐟 EAT. DRINK. CELEBRATE. HONOR A LEGEND.

Join us Saturday, May 9, 2026 for a special Fish Fry brought to you by N'Namdi Contemporary @nnamdi_gallery as we celebrate 100 years of the extraordinary Ed Clark @artistedclark

Born in Storyville, Louisiana on May 6, 1926, Ed Clark grew up to become one of the most dynamic forces in abstract expressionism. His bold brushstrokes swept across canvases — and across history — with a fearless energy that redefined what painting could be. Though he passed in 2019, his legacy burns as bright and vivid as the colors he laid down.

Clark didn't just make art. He lived it. He moved through the world with a warmth, a joy, and a freedom that touched everyone around him. From the streets of New York to galleries across the globe, he showed us what it means to create without boundaries and live without apology.

This fish fry is our way of honoring that spirit — gathering around good food, great music, and even better company to celebrate a man who painted life in full color.

EatUp ! DrinkUp! is curating the beverage experience, so you know the drinks will be just as bold and vibrant as the art on the walls. Every sip, crafted to match the energy of the evening.

🍽️ Come hungry.
🍹 Come thirsty.
🎶 Come ready to vibe.
🖌️ Come ready to feel the energy of an artist who changed the game.

Let's eat, drink, connect, and celebrate a century of Ed Clark — boldly, brightly, and freely. Just the way he would have wanted it.
