A warm welcome awaits you and your little one at Fitzrovia Community Centre’s Under 5s drop-in sessions. Come along to play, explore and create, while meeting other local parents and carers in a friendly, relaxed space.

🌈 Stay and Play
Make new friends and learn through play, with support from our friendly, qualified Children and Families team. All parents and carers with children under five are welcome.

👐 Messy Explorers | 6 months–4 years
Squelch gloop, splash water and splodge paint! Let your little ones discover different textures and sensations with their hands, fingers, toes and feet. The best bit? We’ll clean up afterwards!

🎨 Art Adventures
Enjoy cutting, sticking, drawing and painting together in a relaxed, safe environment—and create a unique piece of art to take home.

Our Children and Families team also offers speech and language support, one-to-one parenting support, family fun days and outings to local museums and parks.

Our next Fitzrovia Wellness Day is on Wednesday 21 October, offering a full day of activities designed to support your health, wellbeing and happiness. Celebrating National Cholesterol Month, come and get a Mini Health Check and discover the delights of a new Autumn Salad.

Whether you'd like to stretch, move, create, relax or simply try something new, there's something for everyone throughout the day, including:

Whether you have little ones looking for somewhere to play or older children ready for some after-school fun, we’ve got you covered.

🔮 What will Fitzrovia look like in 2055?

Step into the future for a special evening of storytelling at The Fitzrovia Chapel this September.

Actors will bring to life a collection of original science-fiction stories inspired by local people, imagining how Fitzrovia, London and the way we live might change over the next 30 years.

Created through a collaboration between #FitzroviaFutures2055 and @LiarsLeague the stories have been developed throughout the year and offer very different—and vivid—visions of our neighbourhood’s future.

Expect stories from Stuart Hotston, Emma Levin, Yen Ooi, Stephen Oram, Sumayyah Janan Rahman, Ana Sun and Penny Walker, performed by a brilliant cast of actors.

Children & Families – Autumn Term 2026

🍂 Getting ready for the new Autumn Term? We’ve got you covered!

Our Children & Families programmes return from 15 September, with activities to keep little ones busy, give parents and carers a chance to connect, and provide plenty of after-school fun for older children.

👶 Under 5s – friendly drop-in sessions for little ones and their parents and carers.

🎨 Ages 7–11 – after-school clubs offering opportunities to get creative, learn new skills, have fun and make friends.

📅 Autumn Term: 15 September – 10 December 2026

Please note, there will be no sessions during half term on 27, 28 & 29 October.
