These are a little different from what I usually do and I think that’s why I love them so much. R & M wanted moody, old money, classic vibes for their save the dates and the Beekman Hotel was the perfect place to do that.

It really pulled me into a moodier, more cinematic direction with these, and it got me thinking so creatively and differently than I usually do!!!

We wandered around, played with movement, leaned into warm coloring, and had fun while also making these sooo romantic but also a lil sultry

I am an absolute sucker for an under the veil shot, so here are my faves from Roxy & Sean’s wedding 🤍

some pretty big life news!!

after a lot of thinking, overthinking, and a lot of my husband convincing me I could actually do this, I am officially no longer a corporate baddie, and I’m working for me!! and all of you!!!!!!

I’ve spent the last year balancing work, weddings, sessions, editing, and pretty much every free second going toward photography. I never imagined something I started just because I loved it would turn into something I could actually make a career out of, but here we are!

I’m nervous, but mostly just really excited to finally give this business all of my time and see where it takes me.

to everyone who’s booked with me, recommended me, shared my work, or trusted me with some of your favorite memories, thank you. I genuinely wouldn’t be able to do this without you 🫶

That being said, I have weekdays now remaining for 2026 & I am booking 2027/2028 so hit my line 🤗

one of my favorite things about weddings is that they bring together people from so many different parts of your life.

your childhood best friend, your college roommates, your grandparents, the friends who have become family. people who might not have seen each other in years, all in one room because they love you.

and while you’re busy getting married, hugging everyone, having a few drinks, and hopefully dancing your ass off, i’m paying attention to all of it.

the way your dad looks at you when you’re not looking. your friends absolutely losing it on the dance floor. your grandma laughing at something across the table. the hugs that last a little longer.

because as much as i love a beautiful portrait, i think those are the photos that only get more important with time.

i want you to look back at your wedding photos in 20 years and remember the people, the noise, the love, and exactly what it felt like to be there.

your wedding day isn’t a photoshoot. it’s a really special day with a whole bunch of people you love. and i think you deserve to actually enjoy it.

anyway, that’s the kind of stuff i care about photographing. 🫶

foreverrrrr obsessed with a bride in a really dramatic room

I think this might be one of my favorite bridal sets I’ve photographed. The warm light, the giant chandeliers, all of the gold and marble, that DRESS??? Everything just came together so perfectly.

I wanted these to feel a little bit like we stepped into another time. Soft, warm, a little grainy, a little dramatic and not too perfect. Some closer portraits, some tiny little bride in a giant room moments, and obviously as many of the architecture and little details as I could possibly fit in

I’ve been really loving playing around with composition more lately too and letting the space be just as much a part of the photo instead of always getting as close as possible. There’s something about seeing this dress surrounded by all of that history and detail that I looooove.

Anyway I would like approximately 700 more opportunities to photograph brides in old buildings with ridiculous ceilings and chandeliers please and thank you 🫶

a little bit wedding photos, a little bit “we definitely weren’t supposed to be behind the bar” 🍸

loving photos that feel like you actually did something instead of just standing in front of a camera. order a drink, climb on the bar, flirt with each other, make a little bit of a mess. give me something to document!!!

I’ve been playing around so much more with direct flash, darker spaces, weird crops, mixing black & white into galleries and letting things be a little imperfect lately and I feel like I’m finally finding that sweet spot between documentary and editorial that I’ve been chasing. I still want the pretty portrait for the frame, obviously, but I also want the photo of your hand reaching for the martini and the one where half your face is cut off and the one that looks like it could’ve been pulled out of a magazine from 20 years ago.

anyway, consider this my official petition for more wedding day martinis in 2027
