Chapter 2: A little reintroduction!

As this new chapter begins, I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself and give my clients, as well as those who are new here, a chance to get to know the girl behind the camera a little better🤍

Hi, I’m Natalie Gallagher, newly Natalie Arpino👰🏼 I am from Philly, born & raised. I’ve always had a passion for fashion, marketing, and social media. I graduated from LIM College in New York City in 2020 with a degree in Marketing and quickly found myself diving into the world of social media right out of college. I haven’t looked back since!

A few things about me: My family and friends mean the world to me, and most of all, my cat Autumn has my whole heart. I’m an animal lover, an only child (although some people say I don’t act like one). I’d like to thank my cousins for that with whom you’ll find me spending a lot of my time with! I try to approach everything I do with kindness, give my best in everything I take on, and always remember that you never know what someone else may be going through.

When I started this little business, I could only hope it would grow into something as special as it has become. I’m beyond grateful for every couple who has trusted me to capture their wedding day, every experience that has helped me grow, every kind word, every share, every like, and every person who has supported this dream along the way.

Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or you’re just finding me, thank you for being here and continuing to support me. This business means more to me than words can explain, and I’m so excited to see where it goes next.

Brittany Garvey approaches celebration through the distinctive qualities of film, allowing exposure, tonal range, color, and timing to shape the character of each photograph. Her portfolio moves between rich color and graphic black-and-white imagery, demonstrating how varied film can look within a single body of work.

Film becomes a central part of Brittany’s visual approach through her handling of available light and exposure. Her color photographs retain luminous skin tones alongside nuanced highlights and substantial shadow detail, while her black-and-white work relies on pronounced separation between whites, blacks, and graduated midtones. These tonal decisions give her photographs a tactile quality and preserve the character of the film stock throughout each frame.

Brittany also has a strong command of timing. Couples and groups are photographed in motion, with gestures, shifting positions, and physical interaction becoming part of the composition.
