It’s a two post kind of day since the cat’s out of the bag now… We were on the @todayshow this morning!!!

A pretty surreal moment if you ask us. We never would have thought that we’d ever grace the cover of a national magazine, no less appear on national TV 🤯🤯🤯.

So many thank yous to doll out-
• to @nbc @todayshow @gshang9 for telling our story
• to our crew (past and present) for getting it, working countless hours, putting up with our shenanigans, sore backs, bum knees, cut fingers, and wet socks — all for the beauty of flowers
• to the army of friends and neighbors (you know who you are!) who have volunteered innumerable hours at all times of day, in all weather conditions, to lend a hand, share a meal, or just listen
• to all our customers, CSA members + partners - you are why we continue to do this! Your smiles, hugs, and love of our flowers week in and week out keep us going!
• biggest of all thank you to my one crazy family (especially Mom + Dad!) who continue on this journey through the thick and thin. We may have had our biggest arguments since the farm started, but hey, we haven’t killed each other yet and I *think* we still like one another?! Love you all!

Beyond belief! Never in our wildest imagination did we ever think this farm would be featured in any publication, no less a magazine we’ve been subscribing to since I can remember. It’s a bittersweet moment indeed. After a successful 30 year run, this is the very last print issue of Martha Stewart Living and our little farm will be in the history books.

Thank you @christine.chitnis for your eloquent writing, @melissaozawa for taking the chance on this story, @ariellachezardesign for your friendship, always making our flowers shine and being the most ardent supporter of local flowers, @chrischurchill for capturing all the beauty, and @mesiryan for bringing it all to life. To our past and present employees, CSA members, and customers, we wouldn’t be here without your unwavering support!

We have so much more to say, but it’s time to go harvest all the flowers for tomorrow’s Farmstand opening day. We’ll have flowers and more for your holiday tables and @upswingfarm will have all the veggies for your delicious meals.

All good things must come to an end.

As expected, the frost came last night and dahlia season 2026 has come to an end. There is no Pick-Your-Own today. If you purchased a ticket in advance, we will be reaching out to you for a refund.

It’s always a bittersweet day as the team pours so much work into dahlias all year round. We joke (but it’s true!) that we’re doing something dahlia-related every month of the year. From digging and dividing, to counting, shipping, planting, weeding, staking, harvesting, packing … the list goes on and on!

Whether you’re connected to us through the CSA, farmers market, or found our dahlias in the grocery store, we’re so happy you’re here and that we’re able to share our love for dahlias with you.

The last hurrah! The freeze is imminent tonight and this weekend will be the last of the fresh flowers at the Farmstand. We’ll have pre-picked bunches stocked in the Farmstand today and tomorrow 10am - 4pm.

🌸Pick-Your-Own Dahlias: We do not anticipate the dahlia field making it through the cold temps so your last opportunity to pick-your-own dahlias is TODAY! If you have a ticket for tomorrow, it is good for today. Walk-in tickets available after 12pm today.

💐Around Town: We made our last deliveries to our retail partners this week! If you’re out and about this weekend you can find dahlias at @allandalefarm @theconcordmarket @pembertonfarms @wardsberryfarm , Whole Foods Wellesley and Ink Block (Sunday). Quick tip: Give the stores a ring to make sure they’re in stock before you head over!

Last call for Dahlias! The temps are dropping this weekend and no helicopter will be here to save us from the frost this time!

For those of you holding out for the PYO Bucket Experience, NOW is your chance. There will be no next week! Regular (10-stem + entry) tickets also available.

The Fields will be open starting tomorrow, Wednesday at 10am. We have opened weekday slots at 4pm if you want to get here after work. Sunday weather looks iffy but we’ve listed that just in case. Please be prepared for the weather!

Our hearts are so full after last night.

Old friends, new friends, community. There’s something truly special about gathering around a table and sharing a meal together. Thank you for celebrating your birthdays, anniversaries, friendships, and a love for dahlias with us.

A heartfelt thank you to the @field_and_vine team and the many, many Fivefork hands (most not pictured!) who helped bring this evening to life, despite all the changes in dates, times, and weather.

Last night reminded us just how lucky we are to have this community. Feeling incredibly grateful and truly blessed. See you for Dahlia Dinner 2027! by @fiveforkfarms

Only a few more weeks until the dahlias are gone for good. It’s a great weekend to come out to the farm to pick-your-own! Reserve a picking time by purchasing your ticket on our website! No time to pick? We have bunches available in the Farmstand.

Programming Note: the Dahlia field will close at 1pm on Sunday 10/11 (last tickets are for 12pm) so we can prepare for our annual Dahlia Dinner on Sunday. by @fiveforkfarms

2 (tired) pilots, energy drinks, snacks, and lots of understanding neighbors later… the dahlias survived last night’s frost! Big thanks to Daniella and Christine @bostonhelicopters for the assist.

Now that the dahlias are safe, it’s looking like we’ll have TWO more weeks of dahlias and we’ll be able to finish out our CSA (Members, this week is your last pickup!) and host lots of fun events!

This week’s pick-your-own tickets will be posted around noon, after a quick nap. And you bet we’ll be at @brooklinefarmersmarket tomorrow too.

Back to work this Monday morning after our first weekend of pick-your-own dahlias! The field was buzzing with excitement and the most color we have had all season. We feel so fortunate to be able to share our craft with so many.

We’ve been getting emails asking if there will be slots open for this coming weekend. We’re keeping a close eye on the weather and right now it’s looking like we may squeak by (don’t worry, we have the 🚁 on standby if the forecast dips more).

If all goes well, this weekend’s (Thurs-Sunday) tickets will be posted Wednesday at noon.

Summer’s last hurrah! Headed off to @brooklinefarmersmarket with the season’s last mixed bouquets and a boatload of dahlias for you. We’re watching the temps this coming week (don’t say the F word!) so we’re not sure what’s in store for next week.
