It's always such a delight to see Selena @wool.and.pine.designs knitting with her ring 😁

I adore all of their designs, they are so enchanting 😍
I made the #seaglasstee last year and I have a few more in the queue! It's so hard to choose though.

Just out here knitting rainbows, it keeps me sane while I wait for the revolution to start.

I've nearly finished the border and then it's just the arms to go, so it could be ready in a day or two hundred... You know how it is 😂

The pattern is the fabulous #marledmaniacardigan by @westknits and my version has about 35 different yarns in a rainbow 😁🌈 So it should be powerful enough to stop all war and overthrow all the mad dictators, I reckon. Worth a try. Will report back.

This thing is a lifesaver! 😃

Being somewhat distractible, I drop a LOT of stitches when I knit. Now I can catch them quickly and easily with my beautiful Silver safety pin, which turns a stressful moment into a delight ☺️

It has so many other uses too, I honestly don't know how I ever coped without one in my knitting bag.

What's your most indispensable knitting tool? Besides the needles and yarn I mean, what's the one thing you couldn't live without?

What's cookin' in Fizzy HQ??

This is our little jewellery oven. It's not a kiln, just a regular mini oven. But the beauty of Argentium Silver is that you can bake it to harden it. So all of our darning needles, cable needles, stitch markers, knitting necklaces - anything that needs the extra strength - gets some time to "cook". Some items take a full 9 hours of baking! Plus a day in the jewellery tumbler, which hardens and polishes it further. This is real slow fashion guys 😂

So what is cooking?

We've got a couple of silver cable needles there, and a new item! These handy stitch holders have just been added to the website, available in three sizes. I will add proper photos in the next day or two, but if you don't want to wait you can already order them at fizzystitches.com

Now I'm getting hungry, with all this oven talk! 😆

We are now open for US sales on our website, Fizzystitches.com - or if you prefer to send us a message on here we can do it that way. ⁠

The 15% tariff will be applied at checkout and remitted to US customs, so you won't have to worry about delays at the border or any unexpected charges.⁠

It's tricky to account for these tariffs in our Etsy shop, so US sales are still suspended there for the time being.⁠

The Portuguese post has still not resumed US shipping and they're giving us no information about when they might, but fortunately Spain has got their shit together, and we are not too far away from there, so we will be taking a road trip once a week to ship your orders. This is the best solution we can find at the moment. The Spanish post is a bit more expensive... shipping starts at €22 (about $26USD), including processing fees for customs clearance. That's still less than half the price of sending by courier though 🙂⁠

A wonderful time in Lisbon! We saw the legendary Bob Vylan play, ate delicious Syrian food, and went yarn shopping. We found a fabulous yarn shop @auri_retrosaria that has a very exciting range of merino beauties, I haven't bought any yarn in ages so I was extremely happy to empty my wallet 😁

These will be added to my rainbow #marledmaniacardigan from @westknits - it's going to be spectacular when it's done 😍

Now we are back home and Paddy is making me a new yarn swift, to wind my new yarn. It's actually a prototype - we will be selling these once it is tested and perfected!

What's your favourite type of yarn swift? Do you prefer the Amish style, the umbrella-ish ones, the back of a chair, or the patient hands of a family member??

I've used some very odd setups over the years, so I'm really looking forward to having a proper swift at last 😁🧶💗 taken in Lisbon by @fizzy_stitches

I had so much fun yesterday teaching a felt painting workshop 😄🖼️
We each made a wet felted piece of art, which will be the background of the "painting". Next week we will use needle felting to add the details and a felted frame.
I can't wait to see them all finished! They're so pretty already.
