No “hard-post” on here in a while from me. Over time, I’ve developed a suffocating fear of sharing most parts of myself in this way.. so much so, that this habit of making myself as small- and taking up the least amount of space as possible has deeply affected my daily life, despite being blessed repeatedly with the opportunity to help bring some huge works of theatre art to fruition over these past several years.

This piece of art in particular, our production of Come From Away, had a profound impact on my life & worldview. This was a magical group of people to work with, whose kindness/generosity/mastery of the craft helped facilitate a re-discovery of a sense of self & self-confidence that I thought I lost several years ago and would never recover again. Cannot express in words how grateful I am for everyone in this photo, all others not pictured who helped bring Come From Away to life, and to @vareptheatre for facilitating the opportunity for all of us to come together to create what we did. Not sure when I’ll be able to really let this one go. Will forever cherish my time spent on the Rock. I plan to keep the light that this experience brought to my life very closely to my heart as the world seems to become a bit darker each day. taken in Virginia Repertory Theatre by @fkadave

My lil babe Lucy has seen me from elementary school, all the way up to me graduating from college. You really got me through when I was lonely as fuck and didn't know what anxiety was. You taught our family how to shut up and just be a family. Love you always baby girl. I've always questioned any concept of a true paradise, but I've never wanted to believe that "all dogs go to heaven" more than right now. Wish you didn't have to go. by @fkadave

May is #bikemonth! These are a few lil pics from #biketoworkday!! It was a casual lil ride that started on the Manchester Bridge (proposed site for @bridgeparkrva) and ended at the Capitol! Super amazing to have a part of the bridge blocked off to help visualize what could be done with some extra public space in an unsuspecting spot. #yaybikes #rvabikemonth taken in Manchester Bridge by @fkadave
