Carter Flachbarth paints the digital age through a distinctly human lens.
@flachbarth

Blending cinematic composition, surreal distortion, and traditional craftsmanship, the Atlanta-based artist transforms the visual overload of contemporary culture into carefully constructed worlds. By embracing restriction, Flachbarth finds new freedom within color, perspective, and narrative, creating paintings that feel at once immediate, uncanny, and deeply considered.

In conversation with Whitewall, the artist reflects on image-making, creative limits, and the enduring power of the human hand. by @flachbarth
