I’m hopeful that sharing my journey in fly tying will get other excited to try for themselves. I would really love to see more women demo tyers. Get out there, do what you love and keep reaching for your goals.

My newest feature is available with @dunmagazine

It was an absolute joy chatting with @tailwatersoapco about traditional Catskills flies and her incredible handmade soap and skincare products.

I had the opportunity to check out @overlandexpo for @dunmagazine this summer. If you have ever been curious about Overlanding, this is a great festival to attend.

Read about it here : https://dunmagazine.com/posts/overland-expo-2026

September has been a whirlwind in the best way and filled with so much community.

Six states. Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Washington, New York, and Pennsylvania.

I feel incredibly lucky every day to have a nursing career that allows me to keep pouring my heart into my passion project, @ifishibelong.

Here are just a few photos from an unforgettable month. At the end of the day, it’s all about the people.

Hey friends, I have a birthday trip coming up in a couple months for my 50th. My itinerary includes @catskillflyfishingmuseum, @flyfishmuseum and @detteflies. It’s a winter trip, sadly no fishing. Lots of fly tying nerding out 🤓 I’ll be in NY, VT and ME.

What else should I see? Maybe @orvis @orvismanchester and @llbean flagship stores?

Driving with the windows open and the seat warmer on is a peak fall experience for me. That, and getting to wear boots again.

If you’ve been looking for a group of fun and fishy women, check this out. Oct 10 we’re going to teach you some fly tying in the morning. Afterwards we will eat some lunch and go fish the flies we tied.

$100 for fly tying, breakfast and lunch with some fishing?? That’s a bargain!!

Holy smokes you guys CARP SLAM XX!!! Team Mom & Mom-To-Be took third place!!🥳🥉🙌🏻 @jackie_myler @miko_plu and I had a killer start to the day, finding some bass and I nabbed a 32in tank🔥 @frontrangeflycasting joined us as a bonus controller for the chaos in the afternoon, which was a roller coaster of ups and downs with these fish. Mike and Marcus were great controllers, and so happy to have them with the team! 🎣 That 32in fish not only put us on the podium, but was the biggest carp caught by a pro, and biggest by a lady angler! My husband @rnickolas is swimming in @stranahans from these prizes!😂🙌🏻

Great to see old fishy friends and met a few new ones. The ladies came out with @flyfish_with_nat placing 2nd, and DTU president @sammy_vonc taking home smallest carp (heavy on the air quotations haha). @tboner64 got on the board with her first carp EVER and it was a DSP carp!!🥳🙌🏻 Incredible that we raised $110,000 for the Denver South Platte this year! Another record!🥳🎣 Thanks so much to all who encouraged, shared Carp Slam posts, and supported Carp Slam campaigns🙌🏻🫶🏻 I’d like to again especially thank the following for supporting my Carp Slam campaign:

Thanks so much @denvertroutunlimited @rick_mikesell @urbananglersusa for the invite to join you guys again and kick A$$ for this river!! Unbelievably proud to be a part of this!🤗🎣 thanks for all you do!

Thanks again everyone, and we’ll see you out there!🤗✌🏻🎣
