🌎 RONGORONGO RELEASE DAY! 🌎 “You Can’t Go Wrong With Rongorongo! 2007-2008” is live on Bandcamp for today’s #bandcampfriday - 100% of download sales go to the artist today, (we have a pay what you can setup) so now is the time to give it an honest shot. Wanna also encourage y’all to share this post and share that link far and wide! Let Rongorongo be heard from the tallest mountains to the deepest jungles on this day and the days to come! LINK IN BIO! 📣

This project has been an important grieving journey to say the least. Thank you all for sticking around! This compilation was labored over for the past year by myself and fellow Rongo/music/life bro Ellis Anderson (@noonemind ). We’ve had an intense experience revisiting these times, but eternally grateful to be able to pull this all together with one of my oldest and dearest friends. Also glad to have connected with and received support from our other Rongo bro @nathantoben throughout this project. So thankful to Nick Petersen for remastering everything, @soleilananda for taking all those silly photos back then, and our longtime friend and conspirator Evan Crankshaw for designing the cover.

This has been a weird emotional thing to make, and full of difficult realities. Been thinking even more about Sid all week, and maybe you have too. This is here now, and I hope it gives you some kind of similar comfort that I’ve experienced to connect with him. Maybe some of y’all will actually dig the music too! It was an incredible and all too brief time being in this band with these friends that can’t ever be recreated, but can now be heard and felt in some way. Thank you!

🦜 From the vault: 2 years ago today we made a concert film! During the last days of the livestream era, we received some royal treatment from our friends at the @catscradlenc and put on a little show. We built an exotic film collage which the Cradle crew then alchemised and generously dipped us into. This was all combined with a stunning light show by the 🚦maestro @distributed_systems and here are the results! Endless thanks to that whole Cradle of the ridiculous, such a fun time! These are clips of new songs that are slated for more studio seshin soon! The whole film is on YouTube so definitely dig it in the LINK in the BIO! 🦥

Unlimited praise to the all star band that night! That’s @theonlymarcallen 🥁 drummin/singin, @ravarymusic 🎸 bassin/singin, and @sisyphus_but_on_guitar 🤿 shreddin/maskin, plus whatever I’m doin. Can’t believe how hard these boys worked for that show learning too many songs. We played continuously for an hour and a half so it’s a real movie event! Maybe make a point to give this show some time today (Bday for Mo 🧁) or save it for later. It’s a pretty cool thing that exists y’all! ✌🏼 taken in Cat's Cradle by @flashcartrip
