Part one of Justin Ellis' 35th Birthday Show: Plays Well With Others!!

This was such a phenomenal gig; a true show of community, the power of music, and the impacts that one person can have on the people around them. I'm so glad I was able to come out to the gig and meet new people, it was truly a show for the ages.

Happy birthday Justin, I wish many more birthdays surrounded by your musical community to you.

Caught another wildly weird and captivating show at Shadowbox Studio this week. I’ll paste the players info below because I wanna get it right. Everything was outside of my usual power pop to punky works but each act made the whole room hold their collective breath and stare. It was really something.
An evening of experimental music and movement!
Sandy Ewen w/ Greg Sheriff
Guitar (Sandy) and Drums/Didgeridoo/Sampled Birdsong (Greg)
Silk Moth
Harp (Kelly Reidy), Synthesizers (Sean Armbruste) and Electronics (Morgan Friedman)
Between Bodies
Reeds (Crowmeat Bob) and Movement (Irina Kruchinina)
