Two More Kids’ Top Pick Awards from Storyline Online! 🎉

The Mess That We Made, read by Kathryn Hahn, and La nevera de Maddi, read by Isabella Gomez, have each surpassed 1 million views!

Some topics can be a bit challenging to discuss with children, but picture books can be a wonderful way to start the conversation. We’re thrilled that these two books have reached so many young readers on Storyline Online, and we hope they’re sparking meaningful conversations about caring for our planet and helping friends who may not always have enough to eat at home.

Two upcoming books. Two very different adventures. And both are publishing NEXT WEEK!

KidLit Grove takes a closer look at Set Sail for School and My Monster Alphabet Coloring Book—and highlights just how much potential these books have for learning, creativity, and hands-on play.

🏴‍☠️ Set Sail for School: "I especially love that there’s a variety of springboards with rhyming and word play, sequencing opportunities, and creative expression with arts and crafts. I couldn’t help but think of the STEM possibilities with building pirate ships, or different styles of schools."

👾 My Monster Alphabet Coloring Book: "It was fun guessing what each letter stood for with my preschooler. The book introduces some new vocabulary in a playful context, with letters connected to words like Q for quills, D for drool, and V for vanish. And I love that there are plenty of extras tucked inside."

Read the full review for more ideas on taking the learning beyond the page.
