One of our favourite experiences this summer was getting the chance to take @we_roam_world Forester out for a proper shakedown before it went under the knife.

It was a ton of fun putting the Forester through its paces and seeing what it could do before the next stage of the build!

What were some of your favourite things you got up to this summer? 👇

Summers are for swimming, right? 🌊

Found the biggest puddle around and sent it, @lostfozz_overland Forester, running a Torq locker, 2-inch lift, and the biggest all-terrains that would fit, doesn't seem too worried about the mud.

It's official, Flat 4 Offroad finally has a home 🏠

If you've been following along on social media or are part of our newsletter, you've probably already seen it, we finally have a place to call our own!

Since 2020, Flat 4 Offroad has operated as a mobile-first business out of a storage locker. It served us well and helped us grow into what we are today, but we're ready for the next step. Having a physical location means we can serve you better, give you a place to stop in, talk about your build, see products in person, and help make Flat 4 Offroad your one-stop shop for Subaru adventure gear and upgrades.

We've still got lots to do. The showroom is a work in progress, we're bringing in more inventory, and we still need a sign out front. But the doors are open, and if you'd like to stop by and see the next chapter of Flat 4 Offroad taking shape, we'd love to have you.

Most importantly, thank you. None of this would be possible without the support of this amazing community over the last six years. The last few years have brought a lot of change, growth, and challenges, and your support through all of it has allowed us to keep moving forward.

I'm excited for what's next, not just for Flat 4 Offroad, but for the Subaru adventure community we're continuing to build across Western Canada and beyond.

Thank you for your support over the years.... this shop is as much your milestone as it is ours.

– Chase Schrader

Warmer weather, snow’s almost gone, time to get back out on the trail 🏔️

What are you taking? Outback or Forester?

The road ended… so we kept going🛣️

Nothing beats a day exploring the Ghost Wilderness, especially when the water crossings look like this.

Who else made it out to the TransAlta Trail this winter?

Fresh snow, no crowds, just the way we like it ❄️

Here on the edge of the Rockies, March is known for its spring storms, and this one dropped a full foot overnight.

Wipe it down, fire it up, and roll out from camp. Mornings like this are exactly why we build these cars.

Perfect excuse to spend a night out near Lake Louise and maybe even sneak in an early powder day on the way home.

Who else loves a winter adventure in the snow?

Built for adventure 🏔️

This super clean JDM Outback came through for some upgrades to get it ready for the backroads. With a lift, roof rack, new wheels and tires, and skid plates, it was ready to hit the trails.

Now it’s out doing exactly what it was built for, exploring everything our backroads have to offer!

It’s easy to forget it’s winter when you’re deep in it every day…

We’ve been busy behind the scenes, keeping installs moving while also planning what’s coming this spring. Even with full days, we still managed to sneak out for a few winter adventures. Icy air and a good reminder of why we build these cars in the first place.

You don’t need much to go far! 🧭

With just skid plates, on-road A/Ts, and a bit of confidence, it’s surprising where a Subaru can take you. Correcting the line and keeping in it a little longer got this Forester over the ditch during one of the great community adventures run by @schrader_labs!
