Had one of the coolest and most honoured opportunities of my life today.

Opening the inaugural @posinggames with a guest pose as well as judging the show with some of my best friends.

The quality and effort of production and athlete care that went into this was astounding. I honestly don’t know how I’m gonna be able to watch a regular bodybuilding show the same 😂 can’t thank @jonlofthousee and @flowbysammy enough.

You have given the biggest spotlight in competitive bodybuilding to those who have true talent and passion for displaying it.

Congratulations to all of the athletes competing. The intricacy and length of routines along with the emotion and stories within was honestly mind blowing.

I genuinely know that even more of this is coming and more of bodybuilding will be appreciative of what you have done and the standard you guys have set.

Yesterday’s new Pull set-up

The mantra for the movements is: if you lose tension where you’re meant to feel it, it’s going in the bin 🚮

Picked apart my sessions and chose my favourite movements with considerations:
🔺 Is it stable enough during the back end of a prep?
🔺 Can I get a good challenge throughout all ranges of the movement?
🔺 Do I connect well/can progress this without losing connection?
🔺 Do I actually enjoy this movement?

Hit that tick list and you can’t go far wrong tbh ❌

Just an observation over the last few weeks between those doing well & those feeling knocked back.

It’s very easy to hide within yourself & spiral.

Take inspiration and set the pace from those you admire. You’ll never be them specifically but at the very very least you will see your own improvements start to fly. by @flexcoach_ryan

So insanely stoked with the package I brought to Auckland’s, a massive redemption to my previous stage appearances! (Shout out to @flexcoach_ryan for keeping my head on straight!) Trying my best to lead from the front but having too many studs on @recall_coaching is a good problem to have!
Loved prepping and being with the team on stage(although I was not focused on photos,classic)

Loved the stage shots @jordyfed so stoked to have you taking photos for @nzifbb amazing choice!
Time to improve for Nationals need to be sharper to be truely happy!

Dreaming about hitting the 212 weight cap 😴💭

Some simply glorious classical progress so far this growth phase with @liamhunneysett

What a beautiful classic frame with some crazy pop.

Currently 8 weeks working together, 3.5kg up with zero skew to body composition. Everything so far has clicked absolutely perfectly and I’ll tell you why:

Liam relays EVERYTHING to me. He is one of the most meticulous athletes that I have on board.
From the get-go, asking what else he can include for feedback, he evaluates everything of his own accord from both an adherence/logbook perspective to how he FEELS throughout the week when changes are made.

So much of coaching is what I call soft feedback.
Libido
Appetite
Neural drive in the gym
Overall alertness
Mental wellbeing

All of these are so valuable as a coach and I’d argue much more valuable than to just check that someone’s logbook is moving. That should be a given over time & clear reasons as to otherwise.

Into our second meso with a little more love to the quads to really make the silhouette seamless by the time we get to stage and both of us are just as excited for each week to come as we are to finally stand up there 👌🏼
