#TJsPizzaContest

I Call this Trader Bell’s California Blonde Pizza! 🍕
It is made with Alfredo sauce (use 1 cup of Trader Joe’s “Rock View” heavy whipping cream[1] and half a stick of butter in a large sauce on medium until it begins to bubble then immediately reduce it to a simmer, add salt, pepper, mince 2tsp garlic then place into pan [2]with 1tsp Italian seasoning[3]. and Take Trader Joe’s Grana Pagano Parmesan cheese[4] and shred two cups worth to sprinkle all over mixture; allow to simmer until fully melted. Turn off when done.)👍

Okay, if you’re not obsessed with the next item like we are, “Trader Joe’s Pastrami Style Smoked Atlantic Salmon”[5] will be your new fav VERY SOON! We tend to eat it raw before we leave the parking lot sometimes just for the protein and flavor so we have to get two or three for whatever our ACTUAL intentions were for it. 🫣🤣 Anyhow, I just used half a package for this (and it conveniently only comes in one size so don’t worry!) but wish I had just slathered it with “TJ’s Organic Kansas City Style BBQ Sauce” [6] (use 1/3 cup of brown sugar and mix with one cup of the sauce, mix well and heat) using the ENTIRE package because YUM!🤤

HOWEVER, there are two thin crusts that come in the Trader Joe’s “Gluten Free Pizza Crusts” box[7] and I had another pizza idea for dinner! So, I preheated the oven at 400 and cooked it for 8 minutes although it says 10-13, one must pay attention because it is THIN crust and can burn or seep over the sides easily if neglected. As always turn all of your burners and ovens off, slice up your pie and ENJOY!!😊😋

I think it’s delicious and am happy to share it with my Trader Joe’s fam! 🫶🏼

None of us are perfect but we can aspire to be our best selves. We can only protect our minds and insights to the best of our ability and while that can be challenging, exceptionally so without community and a direct relationship with our maker, we must keep working. Forgive yourself for imperfections and continue to strive toward being conscious, clean and constitutional human beings. by @flipsown

Lol, just for laughs… If you’re Muslim or Muslima and on the market, you’re NOT during Ramadan, hahaha. #ghosts #forlaughs #ramadankareem via Mai’s Vault by @flipsown

What is Ramadan?
Like Lent in Catholicism✝️ and Yom Kippur in ✡️Judaism, Muslims also fast. Ramadan is the ninth month of the ☪️ Islamic calendar which is based on the lunar calendar.

The fasting begins before sunrise and ends at sunset. During that time there is no eating or drinking of anything, not even one’s own saliva. There is full abstinence of all sexual relations for the entire month. All sins are to be ceased during the month of Ramadan although Muslims are motivated not to sin (gamble, engage pornography, eat pork, etc.) during every month, it is especially haram (or “forbidden”) during the month of Ramadan. Fasting inspires a reflective state for people to open up to a heightened state of awareness for themselves and innately increases the feelings of suffering that others struggle with.✨

More piety is encouraged through inspired reading of texts like the Qu’ran, (given to Muhammad) which is ONE of the spiritual holy books of the Islamic faith that also include the Torah, (given to Moses) the Gospel, (given to Jesus) the Psalms, (given to David) and the Scrolls (given to Abraham). Listening to lectures, prayer and additional fellowship are also enlivening activities during this time. While Muslims pray at least five times daily, these duas (or “prayers”) may be elongated at this time. 🙏🏽

Charity is a cornerstone of Ramadan. Many individuals and groups are inspired to give, do and be more for others within their households, communities and internationally. 🫶🏼

Ramadan ends with an event called Eid. Families and communities celebrate the end of the fasting period together with duas/prayer, food, fellowship, and merriment. 🎊

Were you aware the Muslims acknowledge the texts and teachings of the Christian and Jewish/Hebrews (as referred to in the Bible) faiths, too? Answer the poll below.👇

A question was asked on a post about Beyoncé culturally appropriating cowboys…
Except that Beyoncé is from Houston, Texas… The American South and there have been black cowboys and cowgirls since the beginning its time. #blackhistorymonth #grammys #beyonce #blackcowboys #cowgirls #billpickettrodeo #cnn #themoreyouknow by @flipsown
