Three years ago I left home with two suitcases and a heart full of uncertainty.
I moved across the world to Canada to build a life I could only imagine at the time. I moved all by myself, everything felt new, overwhelming, and sometimes lonely.
But little by little, life started to take shape. I found a different kind of strength I didn’t know I had, created memories and slowly turned a foreign place into a home.
Today marks three years since that leap of faith.
But this anniversary feels different.
My homeland is currently going through the unimaginable, and being far away while the place that shaped you is hurting is something words can’t fully explain.
No matter how far life takes me, a part of my heart will always belong there.
This journey taught me something powerful: You can build a life somewhere new… but you never stop carrying where you come from.
Your roots become deeper.
I also learned that you only belong to yourself. You need very little in life. Few things, very few people. But only the real ones. Everything and everyone else is just noise.
Three years later — still growing, still trying, still flowing, beyond grateful, and forever connected to myself, my home. by @flo.withjess

Some of the most important things yoga has taught me have very little to do with what happens on the mat.

Over the years, I’ve learned that growth isn’t always linear. That some days we feel strong, grounded, and completely ourselves, while other days we struggle to find that same sense of balance.

I’ve learned that being present doesn’t mean having everything figured out. That strength can look like softness, that progress isn’t always visible.

And perhaps the biggest lesson of all is that we are constantly becoming. Learning, unlearning, losing parts of ourselves, discovering new ones, and finding our way back.

Yoga hasn’t taught me how to have a perfect life. It has taught me how to move through an imperfect one with a little more awareness, patience, and compassion.

Trees are at their strongest in the autumn.
The leaves fall, and from an outside perspective, the tree is bare. But from within, the tree redirects its energy from the production of leaves and fruit into the foundation of its roots.
Although the tree appears to be lacking life, it actually has more life, but its life is underground, in a place we can’t see. It’s recharging and moving its energy through the roots, stabilizing and preparing for the cold of winter.
Sometimes strength and power can look like death, and sometimes it can look like failure. But when the leaves fall, the roots gain power that the eye can’t see.
Never lose sight of your invisible power, especially when you’re shedding your leaves. 🍂🤎🍁✨

A September getaway, beautiful fall weather, and my favorite human on earth here with me.
Enjoying all the small moments together is all that my soul needs.
Life doesn’t always need to be fully understood or figured out to be enjoyed. Sometimes, you simply let yourself move with the waves of change, embrace each one as it comes, and trust the path you’re on.
And right now, I’m just grateful to be here, living it fully, one beautiful little moment at a time. 💙☀️🍂🌸✨🌕 by @flo.withjess

This is your garden. 🌿
Choose what you water.
Choose what you let bloom.
And never forget to water what waters you. 🤍 by @flo.withjess

From the fast pace of doing, into the deeper work of becoming. ✨🌸💛💆🏻‍♀️
Yesterday, i took a day to myself, enjoyed a sound journey body treatment that indeed took me on a journey and recharged my light.
Spiritually, August speaks of harvest, reflection, release, and quiet alignment.
A reminder to slow down.
To pause.
To notice a quieter kind of power within us.

What have we planted?
What is working?
What no longer feels aligned?

Sometimes, all we need to do is listen and let the way reveal itself.

Last night, we kept it simple. 🌅
A mat, the sand beneath us, the water beside us,
and beautiful souls moving together.
No pressure to do more.
Letting go of the need to perform.
Just an hour to breathe, move, surrender and let the day soften around us.
A few unexpected visitors 🦆, a sunset that kept getting better, and the reminder that sometimes, the simplest moments are exactly the ones we need.

The universe gave you a compass; not in your pocket but in your heart.
Your intuition is the echo of the cosmos whispering through you.

By the Water. 🌅
Because summer isn’t over yet.
Think simple.
Just you, your mat, the sunset, and an hour to slow down, move, breathe, and connect.
