Lockdown 2020: The kids and I pressed flowers from the garden to make book marks for loved ones. I was hooked! I get much joy from growing & pressing🌸

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🌸Today marks the end of a my flowery era🌸

Priorities in my life have changed and my time is needed elsewhere, meaning I've made the difficult decision to no longer trade at UNITY with @upthegardenbath. In turn this means that, for now at least, Floating Flowers has shut its doors.

I want to say a huge thank you to Kez and Dave for all the support (and hugs) they have given me over the years. The community they have created is second to none. The belief in me and my products, that has never wavered, has been invaluable to my business and to me as a person.

Also, a huge thank you to my family, friends, other small businesses, customers and anyone esle who has supported me on this little adventure I've had. It's meant the world to me to have you along for the ride!

Who knows what the future may hold for Floating Flowers, but for now I shall go and continue to grow and enjoy my flowers, all be it in a different way 🌸 by @floatingflowersuk

Meet Linda aka @floatingflowersuk! Her business was born during lockdown 2020 when she found a flower press tucked away in a cupboard while looking for things to keep the kids entertained. They pressed flowers from the garden and made bookmarks for the loved ones they were missing at the time. Unfortunately, the children's interest in this diminished, but Linda's did not! She started off making frames and then progressed into resin work, prints and greetings cards.

Likes: Nature, chocolate and hippos.
Dislikes: Heights, tiredness and coffee.

Products you can find in UNITY: Pocket hugs, earrings, prints and bookmarks.

Purples at the plot this evening. Not much making happened this week due to other work commitments, but still made time to water and weed a bit 🌸 by @floatingflowersuk

Those of you who have seen me at events will know I often had my 'perfectly imperfect' pot with me. As I'm not at events this year, I've popped it at UNITY with @upthegardenbath in @queensgate_pb , and am told its a big hit! I topped it up today with the rest of my shelves too 🌸 by @floatingflowersuk

As usual radio silence commenced over the Easter break on my socials. I'm back in the studio making pretty things this week. For now here are a couple of snaps of wild flowers growing in Croatia 🌸 by @floatingflowersuk
