After our first Self-Study Room (SSR) in 2024, we are now thrilled to announce our second edition from December 3rd, 2025 until December 11th at BEINGHUNTED., Wallstrasse 4, 10179 Berlin. Join us for our official opening on December 3rd from 18:00 - 21:00. Drinks and music will be provided by us.  The SSR** library is open daily to everyone from the 4th to 11th of December and features selected zines curated by @ccommunee (TYO), @classic.paris (PAR), @shrub.0128 (SG), @far___near (NYC), @saltandpepper223 (TYO), @blank_mag (TYO), @925.925.925.925.925 (HK), @n.t._blatt (BLN), @breauxzine (BLN), @bungee.space (NYC), and @steffen.grap (BLN) Location: BEINGHUNTED., Wallstrasse 4, 10179 Berlin Wine selection provided by @bare_wines Music by @lazersun and einundert’s very own @kanucia ABOUT THE SPACE Hours: Opening: Wednesday, 03.12.2025 from 18:00 - 21:00 Open daily from Thursday 04.12 to 11.12 from 10:00 - 20:00. NISM SSR* is an experimental and temporary space for research, knowledge sharing and reflection. Part curated library, part extended living room or retreat, NISM SSR* aims to provide a well-curated collection of information around how to operate as creators in today’s urban environments. SSR**Self Study Room - designed by @esracmert Thank you to everyone that came to our opening of our Self-Study Room. NISM SSR* is an experimental and temporary public space dedicated to research, knowledge sharing, and reflection. Part curated library, part extended living room or retreat, NISM SSR* aims to provide access to publications curated by: Adam Kouki, Aidan Wallace, Cynthia Igbokwe, Dan Mitchell, Flora Yin Wong, Jorg Haas, Pierre Jorge Gonzalez, Illya Goldman Gubin, Ken-Tonio Yamamoto, Kristen de La Valliere, Myles O’Meally, Nico Adomako, Rita Lino, and STRYK Studio, serving as points of departure for further exploration. The space fosters a nurturing environment conducive to critical reflection and inspiration, with the overarching goal of supporting the emergence of new voices and innovative ideas. Another recap of my direction with @mechanism.works and @workoutservices for TERRA - a 45 unit / 18 story real estate project in HK. Apart from developing a broader conceptual framework and taking over the creative direction, the project allowed us to develop bespoke items with brands such as @akindofguise and @byborre, as well as a custom-made brushed steel display case built in Berlin. Another special item is the keycards we developed, using metal cards with cut outs specifically designed for RFID chips to ensure a strong enough signal despite a general incompatibility with metal alloys. by @flohettenbach

2 years in the making: As a kick-off to our Hong Kong/Berlin-based research and creative studio @mechanism.works we were commissioned to develop a unique branding approach for real estate project TERRA in Hong Kong. Teaming up with longtime partners in crime @workoutservices, we set out to include new elements - from bespoke/custom items with @byborre and @akindofguise all the way to developing a POS onboarding journey for future tenants. The 18 story/45 unit development located in Hong Kong's Ho Man Tin district again stands out from today's spreadsheet architecture through its design approach. Based on the idea of dichotomy of light and dark, future and past, technology and craftsmanship the branding approach required an in- depth understanding of the building's architectural features, materials and its context. Together, we developed a holistic branding approach featuring a visual identity, advertising assets, and a Move-in-Kit consisting of custom designed items sourced from leading suppliers worldwide.
