More energy, strength & consistency (no more diets)

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
For years, I watched women be incredibly hard on themselves for falling “off track”, as if consistency were a character flaw instead of a skill you build.
Most of us already know what to do. What’s missing is the how and the why. So I got curious and spent years learning how to help people shift the goal from staying perfect to simply deciding well, one choice at a time.
That shift is now the foundation of everything I coach. Swipe through to meet the method (and me, again 😊).

Starting Q2 inside Florescer with one focus: MOVEMENT 🔥

But not just any movement…
movement that meets you where you are.

Inside the program, everything is laid out based on your:
readiness, goals & current season of life!

Because the truth is…
we don’t all need the same plan.
And that’s the beauty of it 🤍

When I created the fitness framework for Florescer, I knew I had to be intentional about the woman I wanted to serve.

After a lot of prayer and clarity sessions, I realized…
I was creating something I once needed.

I was once the woman who felt intimidated by the gym, not knowing where to start.
So I started small, at home.
It felt safe. It gave me space to learn a new skill without pressure.

Then I grew into the woman who wanted more.
I joined a gym, fell in love with getting stronger, and built habits through my late 20s and 30s that supported my health.

And then… life changed.

At 41, after my car accident, I had to start over.
In a body that felt unfamiliar.
In a season that was harder than anything I had experienced.

While people meant well saying “it could’ve been worse,”
it still took time to feel at home in my body again.

These different chapters of my life shaped this program.

Not just with science-backed strategies, but with real life, mistakes, growth, and resilience.

Each phase inside Florescer is intentional.
Each one is valid.
Each one is beautiful.

I’m honored to be the coach I once needed & to help other women reconnect with their bodies and move forward… one day at a time 🤍

Save this as a reminder that your journey is allowed to evolve!

The truth about wellness that nobody talks about: You don’t need another list of rules. You need a better framework.

I created Florescer Wellness because I saw too many people cycling through all-or-nothing diets and high-intensity plans that left them feeling exhausted and, frankly, less well than when they started. It’s time to step off that hamster wheel.

✨ What Does Florescer Mean?
Florescer means “to flourish” in Portuguese, and I chose it to honor my Brazilian roots and my incredible mom 😭 She taught me strength, warmth, and the kind of growth that happens quietly but deeply. My own spine surgeries and the stories I hear every day from women, shaped the program just as much.

🌿 Our Simple Vision: Progress, not perfection. Connection, not compliance.

This space is designed to be your supportive wellness coach, helping you change how you live, not just what you know. We slow down and focus on building habits that actually stick through four sustainable phases, one per quarter:

1. Nourish: Simple, real-life nutrition.
2. Move: Approachable, feel-good strength.
3. Restore: Stress relief and emotional wellness.
4. Integrate (tying it all together!)

And at the core of it all: Wellness and family life can absolutely co-exist. Home is the heart of it all.

If you’re ready for a wellness journey rooted in self-trust, I’m here to coach you through it. Are you ready to truly flourish?

I did a thing… three times now 😮‍💨 My first cold plunge was BRUTAL 😩 I gasped, I panicked a little, and my brain was yelling “get out get out get out.”
And because I have a bionic spine, I feel the cold in my back way more than anywhere else. So that first plunge hit differently.

Plunge #2? Still bad. But at least I knew what I was walking into.

Plunge #3 is where it clicked. I slowed my breathing, my mind calmed down, and I actually stayed in there like a semi-calm human 😅

Fun fact: that gasp-and-panic reaction is called the cold shock response, and studies show it gets softer after just a few tries. So I wasn’t bad at it. My body was learning.

Then I headed to the sauna, and my spine was VERY happy about that part. 🔥 Cold gives me that wide-awake, “who am I right now” energy. Heat helps everything loosen up and relax.

Here’s my game plan for the holidays: hold onto my anchor habits, the small, steady things that support me when life speeds up, and try a few new challenges just for fun. This was challenge #1. 🧊🎄

So tell me… What’s something where your first try was brutal? A workout, a habit, a recipe gone wrong… I want the stories! 💬

Quick note: if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, spinal hardware, or are pregnant, talk to your provider before trying cold or heat.

This past weekend, I got to step back and treat myself to a much needed wellness retreat.

And honestly… it was such a wild experience to step out of my usual role of caring for everyone else and actually be the one being cared for. Getting to try new things, meet new people, eat new foods, and journal way more than I talked 😂 (huge for this external processor).

It reminded me how much I love being curious, trying something different, and giving myself permission to just experience things.

Because none of this happened by accident.

This weekend was planned months ago. And being able to leave my house, step away from my family, and not worry about everything I left behind? That didn’t happen overnight either.

Neither did sitting around a table with strangers and feeling comfortable enough to just… be.

It’s been a slow burn. More fails than successes some days, but always with a deep desire for more life. More experiences. More curiosity.

So if this reel makes you want to explore a little more, maybe start from the back end and ask yourself:

What needs to be in place for me to feel free enough to try new things?

Maybe it starts with creating a solid home life that allows you to leave it for a little while…

So you can go play Dora the Explorer without worrying about what you left behind 🤸🏽‍♂️

It’s been a while since I’ve done THAT much movement in one day. Sure, I’m active and I work out regularly, but this tested me in a completely different way.

There were people cheering me on, checking in to make sure this bionic friend was still standing 😂 and reminding me that I could do hard things without taking myself too seriously.

It was the perfect mix of empowerment, sweat, laughter, and stepping way outside my comfort zone.

I did it. I survived. I was also WIPED OUT. 🫠

Now, let me talk about PGS for a second…

From the moment I walked in, I was in awe. I hadn’t even finished checking in and the energy had already gotten me.

There’s just something about being in a room full of women who aren’t performing for each other. They’re just… there.

Sweating. Laughing. Cheering each other on. Taking up space. Being themselves.

And honestly, that felt just as powerful as the workout.

Maybe the win isn’t always doing more. Maybe sometimes it’s realizing how much your body has already overcome AND being grateful that you get to move it, challenge it, and celebrate it again.

Fun Friday: husband edition 😆

Because wellness isn’t just workouts and what’s on your plate. It’s also relationships, connection, laughter, and knowing the person you’re doing life with.

So I asked my husband 7 random questions… and let’s just say, some answers were more predictable than others 😂

And yes… I may have learned a few things from this little interview 🥸

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! 🇦🇷 🇧🇴 🇧🇷 🇨🇱 🇨🇴 🇨🇷 🇨🇺 🇩🇴 🇪🇨 🇸🇻 🇬🇹 🇭🇳 🇲🇽 🇳🇮 🇵🇦 🇵🇾 🇵🇪 🇵🇷 🇺🇾 🇻🇪

A little reminder that while Brazil is not a Hispanic country, Brazil is part of Latin America and Brazilian culture is part of the beautiful diversity celebrated during this month.

So this month, I’m proudly bringing a little Brazil to the celebration. 🇧🇷

Because being Latina is not just about language; it’s culture, roots, connection, and identity.

Here’s to celebrating what brings us together and what makes each of our cultures beautifully unique.

Happy Labor Day 🇺🇸Today we celebrate the paid work , but nobody claps for the job you do before 7am and after everyone else is asleep!

I used to think wellness meant an hour I didn’t have, so I just... skipped it. Kept putting myself last on my own list.

Turns out you don’t need an hour. You need 20 minutes, tucked into a day you’re already living.

That’s exactly what my 5-Day Clarity Challenge is for & everything happens right inside my app, so you just open it each day and follow along. No guesswork, no extra planning. Starts next Monday, September 14th 💃🏽 Link in the bio to join!

Ok it’s the last day of the month and I can’t wait until tomorrow to share… September challenge: 👀

This is what “strength” actually looks like some days … picking something heavy up and carrying it, one step at a time. And if you’re anything like me, you’re already carrying a lot: work, family, everyone else’s needs 😅

That’s exactly why I built the 5-Day Clarity Challenge: a simple reset for women who are new to wellness and don’t know where to start. One quick workout, protein at your meals, and an evening wind-down. Just 20 minutes a day.

📅 Starts Monday, September 14

Comment “IN” and I’ll send you the details. taken in Atlanta, GA by @florescer_wellness

The youngest of four kids, someone who has always loved and thrived in a crowd, is learning to really love her own company.

She still loves being around people. She still loves a full house, a good conversation, and making memories with the people she loves. But she’s also becoming comfortable experiencing things on her own.

I’m her 💕

And while I absolutely love my circle, I’m stepping into a new season where I’m learning to create for myself the same beautiful experiences I so naturally create for others.

Life is moving FAST. Our schedules are full, our interests change, and sometimes it’s hard to find a day that works for everyone. And I’m realizing that I don’t have to wait for someone else to be available to enjoy my own life.

This sourdough workshop was something I didn’t know I needed.

Sure, I wanted to learn how to make bread for my family and friends. But it became so much more than that.

Creating a beautiful little spread for one.
Buying myself flowers.
Lighting my favorite candle.
Slowing down and actually savoring the experience.

It felt like self-love.

And then God showed up in the sweetest way through an authentic conversation with Kelsie. I got to know her, hear her story, and be reminded that even when we choose to do something alone, we’re never really alone.

If you’re still reading this long diary of mine 😅 consider this your little nudge to romanticize your own life, too.

Take yourself somewhere. Try the class. Buy the flowers. Make the pretty meal. Light the candle. Sit outside with your coffee. Do the thing you’ve been waiting for someone else to do with you.

Not because you don’t need people. We absolutely do. But because your life is happening now, and you deserve to experience it fully, even when the schedules don’t align.

Make the mundane beautiful. Make the ordinary feel special. And create a life you genuinely enjoy being present for! by @florescer_wellness
