Florida Chapter of @missamericaslittlesisters ☀️Introducing young women age 5-13 to the @missamericafl, @missamericasteenfl & Miss America Opportunity

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The Florida Sunshine Program knew how important it was for our girls to have their own state-level pinky promise! 💖

A pledge that reflects not only the four points of the crown (Service, Success, Style, and Scholarship) but also the very foundation it rests on: Sisterhood. 👑

This special pledge celebrates the heart of who we are and reminds each ambassador that when we lead with kindness, courage, and love, we truly shine bright like Sunshine! ☀️ taken in Florida by @floridasunshineprogram

As local season continues , the sisterhood grows. 🤍

The Florida Sunshine Ambassadors Mentoring Program is more than a summer experience..it’s a foundation. Our ambassadors learn to identify their passions, serve their communities, and grow into confident young leaders.
Through mentors, service, style, success, and scholarship, our ambassadors are introduced to the Miss Florida Teen, Miss Florida, and Miss America opportunities, while building friendships that last far beyond the program!

Sisterhood may not be a point of the crown, but it’s the heart of it all. 💖

A crown with a purpose ☀️

The Florida Sunshine Program is more than a sash and a sparkle! It's where future leaders of the Miss Florida Organization begin their journey. These young girls embody the heart of what we stand for: scholarship, service, success, and style. 👑

Through mentorship, love, and sisterhood, we’re shaping the next generation of women who will lead with grace and confidence. As draw nearer to Miss Florida Week, our hearts are full, our talents are ready, and our light is shining bright. ☀️

Let the celebration begin, in just 2 weeks! We are ready to showcase all that makes this sisterhood so special! 💖 taken in Florida by @floridasunshineprogram

Blue Crab Festival 🦀

Last weekend I had a great time at the Blue Crab Festival in my hometown, where my competition students were apart of the entertainment! It was such a fabulous first performance of the season with my dance girls. It was super special getting to cheer on my sweet Florida Sunshine Harley too!💙

When purpose meets passion, the impact speaks for itself. 💙🧠

We are beyond proud of our @missamericafl Alexandra de Roos, for being named the Miss America Quality of Life Award Winner and earning a $10,000 tuition scholarship!

What makes this recognition so incredibly special is that it honors something Alex has poured her heart into long before stepping onto the Miss America stage.

After experiencing a traumatic brain injury that changed the course of her life and ended her ballet career, Alex chose to turn that experience into purpose through The Blue Project, bringing together neuroscience and the arts to advocate for brain-injury awareness, education, resilience, and healing.

From sharing her story with communities across the country to advocating on Capitol Hill, serving on Florida's Brain Injury Advisory Board, and giving a voice to brain-injury survivors, Alexandra isn't simply talking about change, she is actively creating it.

And THAT is why this award feels so special. The Quality of Life judges saw what so many of us have been blessed to witness: Alexandra's impact is real, her work is meaningful, and her heart for the brain-injury community is changing lives. 🩵🦋
Congratulations, Alex! Florida could not be prouder of the woman behind the crown and the purpose behind The Blue Project. 👑🧠💙🇺🇸 taken in Florida by @floridasunshineprogram

Florida Sunshine Talent Show ☀️

Saturday morning of Miss Florida finals was super special attending the Florida Sunshine Talent Show! I was able to cheer on my Florida Sunshine Harley, and all of the participants as they showcased their talents on the Miss Florida stage. This program truly is a launching pad for the Teen and Miss program and I have no doubt that I will be seeing them compete in this program in a few years! They all were so brave and did an excellent job! I’m super proud of Harley for going on the big stage and dancing for everyone, she did outstanding!💚✨

The dreams we envision as young girls become the groundwork for the goals we accomplish as women. Being part of the @floridasunshineprogram gave me role models and mentors who embodied all of the qualities that I hoped to possess as I grew older. I’m so grateful to @missamerica for giving me the space to set big dreams and accomplish them! To the little girl watching, always believe in the power of your dreams because they just might come true! 🤍
