Blue Crab Festival 🦀

Last weekend I had a great time at the Blue Crab Festival in my hometown, where my competition students were apart of the entertainment! It was such a fabulous first performance of the season with my dance girls. It was super special getting to cheer on my sweet Florida Sunshine Harley too!💙

MISS AMERICA 2027 is TEXAS!!!
Sitting in the Palm Beach County Convention Center and watching the first Miss America be crowned in WPB was pure magic. Getting to reunite & meet friends and sisters from across the country, share in conversation with many, and do it all with my teen was the cherry on top. I NEVER WANNA LEAVE!!!

“There She Is, Miss America.”
Those are the words my dad greeted me with nearly every morning as a little girl. Long before I understood what it truly meant to be Miss America, he made me believe that perhaps this organization was always meant to be part of my story.

At eight years old, I joined the @floridasunshineprogram, where I learned the value of servant leadership and the power of using your voice with purpose. I grew up looking to women in this organization who embodied all of the qualities I hoped to one day possess, never knowing just how profoundly their examples, and this organization, would shape the woman I became.

The Miss America Organization has changed the course of my life, and the people within it have left an imprint on me that I will carry long after I ever wear a sash or crown. To now stand on the Miss America stage representing the state I have loved my entire life, and the people who make it so extraordinary, is a privilege I will never take for granted.

Tonight, I get to live the dream that little girl imagined all those years ago. Tonight, I grace a Miss America Organization stage as a delegate for the last time. Whatever happens when I step onto that stage, I already know how fortunate I am to have made it here and I remain forever grateful for the opportunity and the reminder that sometimes our wildest dreams can come true.

Florida, I hope I’ve made you proud. It has been the honor of my life to represent you. ❤️

Florida Sunshine Talent Show ☀️

Saturday morning of Miss Florida finals was super special attending the Florida Sunshine Talent Show! I was able to cheer on my Florida Sunshine Harley, and all of the participants as they showcased their talents on the Miss Florida stage. This program truly is a launching pad for the Teen and Miss program and I have no doubt that I will be seeing them compete in this program in a few years! They all were so brave and did an excellent job! I’m super proud of Harley for going on the big stage and dancing for everyone, she did outstanding!💚✨

The dreams we envision as young girls become the groundwork for the goals we accomplish as women. Being part of the @floridasunshineprogram gave me role models and mentors who embodied all of the qualities that I hoped to possess as I grew older. I’m so grateful to @missamerica for giving me the space to set big dreams and accomplish them!
