Cuando estaba embarazada muchos me decían “¿Cómo vas a hacer?”, “vas a tener que dejar”, “ya no te va a importar el trabajo”, “ya no vas a poder” y me asustaban bastante pero les llevaba la contra igual (ante todo 🦂)

Cada día es diferente y un desafío, sí. A veces puedo con todo y a veces la lista de pendiente me lleva puesta. Tengo mensajes que responder, cosas que resolver y otras que me olvido.

Hay que ejercitar la creatividad para buscar la forma y todo cambia todo el tiempo, pedir ayuda (esto me cuesta), bajar un poquito las expectativas y no frustrarse, si no sale hoy sale mañana.

Pero se puede.

Y no hay que dejar que nadie diga lo contrario 🦂 by @flornietoblog

No es tanto que el público se renueva sino que yo me olvido. A veces se siente como si no hubiese pasado. No porque no lo haya disfrutado sino porque si alguien me lo hubiese contado de chica no le hubiese creído. Nací y crecí en Comodoro y en ese momento no era ni pensado por ejemplo, poder conversar con alguno de tus ídolos, estar en un festival como en la tele o conocer a los teóricos que veíamos en la facultad. Por suerte mucho cambió, aunque todavía falte.

La verdad es que no hago mucho periodismo últimamente y está bien, pero siempre vuelvo porque nada se pierde del todo. Por eso publico el post del año pasado, porque sigue así.

No voy a mentir, siempre fui introvertida y medio incómoda con la vida así que me pareció la excusa perfecta para hablar con gente copada. A veces más, a veces menos pero hace 10 años que trabajo de esto -sí, empecé bastante chica-. Así conocí a algunas de las personas que más quiero y admiro en el mundo.
Siempre me sentí medio rara con el término periodista pero lo terminé aceptando gracias a Mariana Enríquez que dijo: "Periodista rockera, bien" cuando leyó mi bio en la primera clase del Posgrado. Nunca en la vida imaginé entrevistar a @markyramoneofficial -y dos veces-, a @theecjramone y que compartiera un post de mi blog, trabajar en el @lollapaloozaar o escribir sobre las mujeres destacadas del año para @billboardar. Pasó bastante y me olvido de mucho. Fue hermoso, pero ahora quiero algo diferente: más que cumplir un "sueño" una meta propia -que no está nada mal-, quiero ser útil más allá de mí. Y estoy trabajando en eso. Ya falta poquito para contar más novedades. So, I’m a student again. After a degree in Social Communication, a specialization in Cultural Journalism, and a Master’s in Digital Marketing, I thought another master’s sounded like a perfectly reasonable idea.

This time, Arts and Culture Management at @romebusinessschool. Got accepted with an Entrepreneurial Incentive Scholarship, which is pretty awesome 🥹

Classes haven’t officially started yet, but I’m already making my way through the pre-courses and enjoying them so much, but I need to say that my parents’ and family’s support and absolute confidence that I can do it might be my favorite part of the whole thing 🥹🫶🏻

What happens when international entrepreneurs don’t just move to Croatia, but stay and build here? 🇭🇷

That was the conversation behind our FBOA panel at Innovate Split 2026: International Business in Croatia, Creating Local Impact.

Five FBOA members, five different journeys across hospitality, relocation, education, wine, wellness and community, sharing what they’ve learned from building a life and business in Croatia.

Because local impact can take many forms: creating jobs, working with local businesses, sharing knowledge, building communities, investing, collaborating, and choosing to stay.

If we’ve had coffee, worked together or crossed paths at some point this year, there’s a very good chance I’ve told you about @cyanfestival

It was genuinely one of my favorite events last year, and these are some pictures from it.

Cyan is a festival of visual culture here in Split, bringing together people working across graphic design, photography, illustration, typography, architecture, animation, wayfinding and more. And it’s back September 30–October 3 for its fourth edition.

This year there are talks, an exhibition, plenty of opportunities to meet other creative people, and the festival closes with a RØLØ concert followed by a gathering at Adriatic Social Club.

Basically: if you’re into visual culture, put it on your calendar.

I’ve been talking about it since last year and apparently have no intention of stopping.
