Having to go “old school” and use a hand held sprung punch for the hole coz my cropadile couldn’t reach…do any of you still have any of these? I’m glad I do…

#oxalis are my favourite indoor flower…I love the way they open to the sunlight and then how they close to sleep in darkness…the gentle movement with striking #triangular petals

Floss is here with some decorated jugs and she’s used Mags Woodcock stamps and stencils from her release earlier this year.

These jugs make delightful holders for paintbrushes, or you could pop a spice jar inside and use them as a flower jug!

How fun to use colours of your choice. Floss went for yummy blue-greens with a mix of paints, infusions , stencils and stamps. Blank Tissue is a useful way for her to add the stamped designs, as the translucency of the paper offers great placement options.

There’s a bit of an oopsie along the way, but she figures a work-around easily enough. We think it’s so useful to share with you how to recover when things don’t quite go to plan.

So having had some lobster fun… yes I know that I still have to edit and upload that reel… I decided to try an #elephant using a stencil and mask layering technique for this #watchmemake #mixedmedia piece…

Using an old screwfix newspaper page to start the images is something I often do… it’s helpful and fun because it already has texture and words that will #peekthrough the layers of #stencilling by @floss_workshop.art

So my husband thinks I need to start changing things up a bit 🙃🫩 I think he’s fed up of seeing #echinacea flowers… it’s a flower or shape I don’t think I will ever tire of seeing, drawing or creating!! Or growing for that matter…

Sorry, not sorry to be doing another #mixedmediaflowers … maybe it’s my comfortable place, maybe I do need to push myself more, maybe I do need to switch things up a bit… but my art is my part of me that makes my soul sing and I create with happiness and enjoyment…

Take it or leave it…it’s made me happy to create it…what are your honest thoughts?
