We’re keeping it simple, all black with a touch of colour. Interpret that however and add a little colour wherever you feel like it.

finally, we’re back. 🏠✨
after a short break, we’re bringing back ‘The House Party’ for Flowstate Vol. VII

channeling the energy from one of our most loved volumes, Volume II, we’re heading into a private setting for an end-week hang with our immaculate selectors and a soundtrack moving through:

2000s R&B · Afroswing · Gqom · Jersey Club · Baile Funk · Highlife · Dancehall · Alté

private setting + very familiar = very Flowstate

we want to hear from you because the (room) was never meant to end where it started. growing, shifting, moving and taking people with us.

welcome to @flowstate.vol - a cultural appointment offering an alternative to traditional nightlife. it’s where space meets sound and community - and it’s growing!

we want to shape it with you and for you, whether you’re a regular member or you’re yet to experience one. our ‘Flowstate Community Census 2026’ is live 💛 and your participation is invaluable.

it only takes 4 minutes - link in bio ✨

Thank you to every selector who stepped behind our open decks, every music lover who showed up early or with a friend and made space for discovery. You continue to remind us that some of the best moments happen when we simply gather around great music and each other.

Here's a little look back at our first After Hours Social Club at FAM. See you at the next Flowww 🌊

We’re closing out our After Hours Social Club with something a little different 💆🏾‍♂️

Our resident @dj_jone_ke invites you into his sonic world through a deep listening session, taking us on a journey across the sounds that have shaped the way he experiences music.

We’re really looking forward to sharing this moment with you.

✨ RSVPs are now full. If your plans have changed and you’re no longer able to attend, please update your RSVP on Partiful so we can offer your place to someone else in the community. Admission is strictly reserved for confirmed RSVP holders due to venue capacity.

See you at FAM 💛 by @flowstate.vol

Everything you need to know about Open Decks and the flow for this Friday 🎧

Open Decks slots (35-40 minutes) will be confirmed via Partiful, so make sure you’ve RSVP’d. And if your plans have changed and you can no longer make it, we’d really appreciate you updating your RSVP. Venue capacity is limited, and we’d love to make space for others in our community who are hoping to join us.

See you at FAM whether you’ll be behind the decks or not 🙂‍↕️ by @flowstate.vol

A few frames from my first afternoon at FAM 🫂

I came for Vinyl 101 with @boombapclicke x @fam_l1.2s_l36.4e and left with a deep appreciation for what this space is quietly building in a corner of my neighbourhood. Places like this remind me how much i'm enjoying slowing down over good music and the simple act of being around people.

And now i can’t wait to call this home for Vol. VI of @flowstate.vol - a Friday drop-in space for music lovers and anyone wanting to ease into the weekend together - free rsvp in my bio 💛

Thankyou for all you’re doing @na_kiboko_je @noomasana @_kalundemuli by @flowstate.vol

Clocking off? Come through.
We’re partnering with FAM for our After Hours Social Club, a Friday gathering for easing out of the work week and into the weekend.

Drop in anytime between 2–9pm. Finish your emails, bring your laptop, hold your last meeting of the week, journal, read, connect with someone new, jump on an Open Decks slot, or settle into a deep listening session with resident @dj_jone_ke

More info on slide 2 but there’s no pressure, just good music, good people and a slower way to start the weekend.

RSVP via the link in bio as always friends! There’s a quick questionnaire on the RSVP form if you’d like to jump on the open decks… Tupatane next week! by @flowstate.vol

my fingers have been itching to make more things with my hands recently, so for the latest @flowstate.vol event i wanted to enhance the space with some colour and life and what better way to do it than with some floral arrangements 💐 watch till the end

producing an event can be stressful and expensive, but putting these together didn’t break the bank thanks to the coconut vases and it gave me an opportunity to get out of my head at the start of the day and into a playful flow with each arrangement. with each stem i was setting my intention for the space i wanted to welcome people into & creating something someone could go home with

thank you to the mzee who gave me the free empty coconut shells + thank you @sampaga.space for this inspo! i’ll definitely be doing this again by @flowstate.vol
