We try to mix things up at Flow. Takedowns, passing and a range of guards. Our aim is for well rounded students that are competent in all areas. Not to say once you get the fundamentals you'll specialise in something but the key to it is you'll have an understanding of most things once leaving our fundamentals/beginners program. 6:30am and 6:30pm. Friday morning comp class and good to see decent number's for our first Friday night open mat. Every week from 18:00. Everyone welcome £5 mat fee. taken in Flow Submission Grappling by @flowsubgrappling

Kids absolutely smashed the first Friday night competition class. Loads of drilling and specifics and they all got stuck in. We increased the intensity and they where all up for the challenge and more importantly they loved it. This class is open to all levels and affiliates. Belter week at the club so far and its only Wednesday. Straight back to it tonight with juniors no gi 17:30-18:30 Fundamentals 18:30-19:00 Submission Grappling tech 19:00-20:00 and competition rounds to end the night from 20:00. Remember we've got our first kids competition class this and every Friday 17:00-18:00 with an open mat to follow. As always everyone welcome. taken in Warrington, England by @flowsubgrappling

A massive congrats to @mattfleminsta Flows brownbelt. Hes trained under me for many years before and has been with the club since day 1. Mat time (not years trained) is a minimum requirement at flow to be promoted and Matt has more then put his fair share in. Juggling work, family and general life he still finds time to train. Be it 6am, evenings or weekends hes in. No excuses, consistently putting the graft in. If you want it enough you can find time. "Helped" and supported by mates/club members, after a gruelling 15 minute sharktank he earned his well deserved brownbelt. Thursday night fundamentals and going in deep with our Friday comp class. Solid shift put in this week. Don't forget from next week we've got a couple of new additions to our Friday schedule.
