That moment you put the rag down, step back, and just take it all in. It’s not a build anymore. It’s ready for a home.

@rb_wooddesigns brought this live-edge slab across the finish line with our Lithe base anchoring it underneath. Heavy, balanced, and built to last through the years ahead.

How long do you usually stand there just staring when a build is finally done?

Less than 2 seconds to rinse clean 🦉💦

Dust washes away in a single pass, letting Owra’s silhouette take center stage under the spray. Drawing from the quiet poise of an owl, its faceted planes emerge sharp, regal, and grounded.

Finished with a protective powder coat, it helps moisture bead off the surface and keeps the handcrafted steel looking clean and refined over time.

Anchor your next table with this striking sculpted steel base. Link in bio.

🌎🌱 One look and the name makes sense.

@white_squirrel_woodworking brought this Earth Table concept to life using natural Maple Burl and deep blue resin.

The Filar base is a go-to pick for a round table with this much character. Its sculptural steel design gives the entire build a grounded, unified feel from every angle.

Want a closer look at how the round mounting plate attaches? Let us know in the comments.

An 8.6-foot custom Xerxes from this week’s custom run.

A base this size always sparks excitement in the shop as we imagine what slab will rest across these mounting plates. A tabletop of that scale deserves a rock-solid foundation, and this steel frame is built to support it with confidence.

We always enjoy building to challenging project specs. Send us a message to discuss your custom table base.

Clean layout, threaded inserts, and a solid foundation.

@oregonhandcraft took this live-edge Walnut slab through every stage with careful precision before bringing in our Cleo coffee table legs for the finale.

With pre-drilled mounting plates ready for installation, the setup helps accommodate natural wood movement while keeping the process simple. A few bolts tighten into place, wood and metal come together as one finished piece.

Balanced, grounded, and built right. What are you building in your shop this week?
