Nothing like New York, especially when it means seeing friends and family in all the special spots! An escape room win, breakfast at Tiffany’s, a rooftop espresso martini, a quick hug from Leni, and dinner in Greenwich Village made for the most perfect day with my son John and sister Janice. A true “pinch me” day! Thank you both for planning something so special. My heart couldn’t be fuller! Love you both so much. 🩵🩵🩵 by @flrech
AVID students reflected on three habits that have kept them from earning the grades they want to achieve. After writing about these challenges, they shared their “Bad Habit Tombstones” with the class, symbolizing their commitment to leaving those habits behind. Through honest conversation, students realized they were not alone in their struggles and encouraged one another to build new habits for success. Together, they recognized that positive change begins with self-awareness and a willingness to grow. #weareavid by @flrech

Special shout-out to my former AVID student, now a senior Mackenzee! She returned to share an inspiring slideshow about how AVID strategies helped her build confidence, improve her grades, and grow personally. My AVID 2 students were completely locked in as she shared her journey! Watching former students come full circle and inspire the next generation is what teaching is all about. So proud of you, Mackenzee 🎉💖🎉 #wearelimitless by @flrech

Happy Birthday to this beautiful lady I am so lucky to call one of my most treasured friends! We met when we were just 15 years old in 10th-grade Biology with Mr. Lanza. After repeatedly being told to get rid of her gum, she flat-out refused. 😂 Mr. Lanza finally kicked her out of class, and right then and there, I knew, we MUST become friends! I won’t make us feel old by doing the math…okay, I did it. 52 years of friendship! ❤️ From 15 to now through all the chapters, changes, laughter, tears, and memories, our lives together have been nothing short of one wonderful adventure. Happy Birthday, Della! Here’s to all the memories we’ve made and the adventures still ahead. I love you, Patty ❤️🥂🎂 by @flrech
I will never forget standing in awe of what we saw on the television with my 5th grade class. The Space Center was miles away and our school was on lockdown. We knelt and prayed-a visiting Priest had shared that prayers when kneeling were more powerful. To this day I can’t share this without crying. I’m not sure how we endured that day and the days thereafter, but it was some of the most beautiful acts of heroism and patriotism I’ve ever seen for our country in our darkest hour. It was surreal Today I’ll share my experience as so many will do. I chose this picture as I grew up on Long Island and we could see the towers being built from the Captree Bridge. My Dad would always point it out to us in the car. #neverforget911🇺🇸🗽❤️ by @flrech
